We bare bears is pretty good and mighty magiswords is a okay addition also they are probably going to have mighty magiswords
Bare Bears is a decent show, but doesn't hold much interest in me, and Mighty Magiswords feels like some flash show you would find online back in the early 2000s. CN still lacks enough variety compared to back then, or even to its competition. I may not like modern Nicklodeon either, but at least they try to have variety with their animated shows now, and Disney XD has something. Even if latter has only action shows that are either Marvel property or Star Wars. Star vs. the Forces of Evil is more so action/comedy, yet it's different enough feels like a better Powerpuff Girls Show than what CN puts out. Now there are still huge flaws with Nick and XD, but at least there is effort from them.

Also I like to post some....amusing fanart I found in meme sites that will get a laugh out of you guys:

Also fun fact Samurai Jack appeared in Uncle Grandpa

Where the fuck is Ed Edd n Eddy and the Kids Next Door?!
The fact that the creators of UG have three characters from CN's early days says something. They do have a huge respect for the legacy more than the network itself does. You got Johhny Bravo, Dexter, and Dee Dee in the audience. I am a big fan of Kids Next Door, so it does not bother me. As for Ed, Edd, n' Eddy, I'll never watch the show again, because it was way too mean in screwing the title characters over, and those other fucking kids being Karam Houdinis 90% of the time. Especially with characters like Sarah and Kevin. Once I saw the Big Picture Show, I found it pointless to go back to most episodes of the show. I'll watch the ones where the Eds either win or don't get screwed over too badly. This pretty much the same reason why I won't watch CatDog ever again after its movie finale.
1. And the funny thing is you can tell how superior the art style of the Legacy characters are compared to the newer ones.

2. If you think the Eds are too mean spirited, look at Danny Phantom, he's a superhero and he still gets grounded for bullshit reasons.
As for Danny, at least he had super powers. Though he had a shitty love interest that you're supposed to like, but no. Sam was full of shit. Then again, Butch Hartman had the exact same problem with the later seasons of The Fairly OddParents.
I think Danny's best possible Love Interest is someone outside of Danny Phantom.

You see I ship Danny with Raven of the Teen Titans because back than I read Crossover fanfics of Danny Phantom and Teen Titans and I like the ones with Danny and Raven being shipped together.

If only we could all age into badass Scottish grandpas, missing several limbs, but charging our foes in our wheelchairs while our minigun leg replacement blazes bullets.

At least, I think that's what is happening in this gif.

I'm psyched for this new season! Plus, if it works out, maybe Cartoon Network will revive some more of the shows it's neglected. Lord knows Cartoon Network needs more good shows...

Well who's staying up late at night to see the episode?

Good thing I have Dish Network recording.

I also have Dish network recording; it airs at 8P where I live and I don't get off of work until 10P.
And I still live at home, and the way the way the recording set up, it's set to record in my dad's room and I'm begging him not to skip over it, he probably won't, he's a cool dad, but I just wanted to share that.

Anyway.

Good God, that action looks awesome. The camera shakes, the choreography, the camera moves, man, that is sweet.

I'll freely admit, I wasn't into Jack when it first aired. I was at an age where it was pretty boring actually, didn't rewatch it until recently and I'm mature enough now to appreciate the finer things like his battle with the man in the mountain to attain his freedom or defeating his dark self by finding peace within himself. I think that's really cool, especially for a "children's" cartoon.

That's why I'm hoping there's still a lot of that stuff in there. I'm not opposed to the new style and action, believe me, I'm not, I'm just hoping for a good amount of inner triumph as well.

And my sister's willing to watch this season with me too, which is pretty cool. She hasn't seen that much Samurai Jack (she's seen a little and liked it) but to be honest, the series was almost always a bunch of mini-stories with a clear ultimate goal rather than an overarching story so I think she's good.

Who geez what a tease. I have a feeling the next one will be bloody though since in the previews Jack seems to be happy about fighting robots instead of people.
Great reminder of why I love this show. It's so cinematic.

...Touche. I meant for a GOOD revival, preferably with the original creator involved... but I've pretty much lost most of my faith in channels like Cartoon Network...

Also, just got done watching the episode. It was pretty cool (and quite nostalgic, even if it was weird to see Jack not using his trademark sword). I can't wait to see the next one!

Grrrr I want more!!! I knew this new season should have been 1 hour in length each episode. I am so fuckin Spoiled by shows like Game of Thornes and Star Trek because of how much they can cover with an Hour of Runtime.

But thank goodness Jack killed that Robot Assassin with a Smartass mouth and slaughter the whole village I was worried he'd be a recurring character

Well I can safely say Samurai Jack Season 5 is not another Powerpuff Girls Reboot and Teen Titans Go!.

And that's just basing this whole thing off of 1 episode.

Hmm I like Not Raven the best.

Also who is Hotaru? Since all the other ones have hairstyles that reference characters from other cartoons, what is Hotaru from?

Based on Google, I'd say that whoever chose the names in that image was referencing Sailor Moon.

Well...

I really liked how the vibe of this series stayed the same(or as we remember it?). The animation was tweaked, some more disturbing, mature elements were added, but without being excessive.
My favorite new addition was the flamboyant robot killer and his tuning-fork dagger.

Alright criticism time.

Jack went out of his way to save those 2 Alien dog family from an Army of Robots, but choose not to save the village because of his depression?! WTF?

And I don't know this whole episode had little pay off, as a whole 1st it failed at startig things with a bang. I mean The Primier movie this is not.

I mean so little was explained. I think it was a mistake to fast forward 50 years because who knows what happened in between to make Jack be like this. Obviously I feel there is gonna be an episode that's essentially a prequal to how Jack got this way?

That was a pretty good first episode. I like that Jack's arsenal is pretty much what his previous opponents held, it can make every fight unique. Would have been cooler if some of the seven died during the training with about 3 being what's left and out to kill Jack, my guess that at the very least one of them would be "redeemed" (the one who looked outside, Dark Ilana?). Nice there's still the light hearted tone clashing with "holy shit it was on Cartoon Network" imagery.
I seriously hope he gets to keep the tuning fork sword for at least a whole episode, that thing is unique AND cool. Sadly the preview for the next episode makes it look like he won't be hanging onto it for long.

I was half expecting a 300 moment with them. When I saw the kids being born, I honestly thought one was going to be killed for being two scrawny or something. And yeah, she'll probably be redeemed, it helps that she actually got a name. If she's not redeemed, at the very least her death will be played for tragedy. I also think that there's going to be an interesting angle to approach any relationship between her and Jack, considering that they had pretty similar childhoods. Both of them have been training the majority of their life. Jack's was just more stable.

Umm Jack didn't know that the village was in danger and the Scatbot said he put it in that status for days.

Seeing the woman giving birth definitely reminded me that it is on Adult Swim now, as well as having a more clearly "slaughtered village" thing rather than it being super vaguely horrific.

Until the assassin called Aku, I thought perhaps Aku had been...dealt with for the time being, since it seemed like the cult ladies were hoping to revive Aku or something.

The more mature tone and clearly more consistent plot (ie less serial than past seasons) make me feel like I will really like this season. I did always like the show, but my interest waned as it became very status quo.
