Mixed feelings!
On one hand, I'm supremely pleased. Every single time she opened her mouth it was like a crime against the English language, the intelligence of the people she represented, and the world as a whole. Not to mention that every single time she busted out the whole "hurr durr hockey mom look how cute I am wink wink at the camera I can see Russia" bullshit I didn't feel my opinion of her growing, nor did I even feel aroused. I simply felt like she was insulting my intelligence, and I'm not the smartest person in North America by a long shot.

Why does everyone hate her again? Her persona can get on your nerves really easy, but policy wise it's pretty much straight forward decent stuff.

I can't speak for anyone else, but the reason she scares me is that during the VP debate, she made a truly gigantic fool of herself, parroting the same five words over and over and over ("Maverick"), and making lame attempts to win our votes with a wink or a condescending joke. Whether or not she spent the taxpayer's money - which is a dick move in my opinion - is not the heart of this, and even if she did she could still be a damn good governor and I wouldn't know. the republicans have been kind of self destructing as of late mark sanford (the presidential frontrunner for the republicans) for example said he wanted to do something exotic and it is safe to assume he did. its the clinton curse!

As much as I wasn't a big fan of the McCain/Palin ticket, I do think the media has been on the Palin hater-wagon for far too long. I mean, I support the coverage given to Palin's governance and politics but...
Good: The media's criticism of her qualifications for VP.
