Say something nice about the Star Wars Prequel. If you can.

Hm, well I didn't mind Jar Jar Binks too much, he was obviously not meant for my demographic but for younger kids. The gungans were kind of cool, and I liked the robot soldiers, too bad they don't seem to do anything and are more easily dispatched then the children that Anakin killed.

That's not to say I like the films, but I didn't like the originals that much either, so whatever.
But one of my biggest criticisms is that Anakin killed children. I know they were called younglins to appease the censorship assholes that ruin films, but we all know that he basically killed children, in a space adventure film. That and many of the characters seemed like sterile robots to me that didn't see what was going on, even though it was obvious that something was going on, they even mention that some things are suspicious, but never did anything about it.

All in all they were pretty terrible films.

Actually, most things about the prequels are really great. The major exception is some of the dialogue writing. e.g. Anakin and Jar-Jar's lines.

Visuals, music, setting, pacing and detail are great. It is just those few cringe moments that really leave a bitter taste for many people "Are you an angel?", midichlorians, "NOOOOOOOO"

Darth Maul Fight and music to the fight, especially that bit where those hanger doors open and he's just standing there

Anakin Vs Obi Was cool.

Mustafar looked great.

The music was awesome.

The Clones were cool.

Darth Maul ruled.

And without the prequels, Battlefront proably wouldn't exist.

... they are good movies? I dont know, i really liked them. Or at least, the two ive seen. I really, REALLY, dont understand why people flame on them; i know there are the one or two "Major" flaws that everyone puts out, but there are worse flaws in "Better" movies.

Well Natalie Portman was pretty hot, especially in attack of the clones. A greater variety of aliens & technology. And finally, Darth Maul (with cool double light sabre), Darth Tyranus & General Grievous being pretty kick arse villains.

Speaking of Tyranus, having Christopher Lee play that part was a brilliant choice in both as an actor & classic hammer horror movie star to do for the new films what the late great Peter Cushing did for the originals.
Also Samuel L. Jackson with his purple lightsabre, because lets face it, anything Samuel L. stars in is top shelf.

Darth Maul. was a really good sith, he looked the part really cool. If he had got more screen time it could have been quite cool and saved a lot of th crappyness of the phantom menace.

The music, most of the casting (Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Christopher Lee, Natalie Portman), the lightsaber duels and most of the CGI was pretty great too.

Number three is quite genuinely no worse than 'Return of The Jedi'? and quite possibly more entertaining than 'A New Hope'

The Yoda vs Count Dooku (or Darth Sidious) battle.

Other than that, I was wholly disappointed (even by the lack of awesome new Storm troopers, always my fave guys in the flicks!).

- Pod racing felt kick-ass.

- The light saber battles were kick-ass.

- Seeing Palpatine become the Emperor was really cool.

- Count Dooku.

- Darth Maul

- Liam Neeson

- Seeing how the Republic devolved into the Empire was great; the precursors to AT-AT's and the Star Destroyers, the Clone Troopers, the way the music evolved, that sort of thing.

I actually liked the prequels. Especially Phantom Menace, as that didn't have Emo-Anakin yet.

Mostly the CGI. In my opinion that's just what Star Wars needed.
Really? That just made it look like a videogame to me. The original movies felt much more real, more solid. Don't get me wrong, CGI is great, but only when used to support the movie or show, like how Boardwalk Empire or Game of Thrones does it.

To create an entire world out of CGI? Yeah not so much. Especially Attack of the Clones suffered from it. Every real character had this weird sort of halo arround him/her whenever the CGI got really prevalent, made them feel out of place, and the entire thing very fake.

Lucas' plot to recruit more Sith into his army.

It's working.

The lightsaber battles were awesome. There was also some great casting.
