Star Wars: Republic Commando.

Star Wars: Battlefront II.

Star Wars: Clone Wars - Genndy Tartakovsky cartoon series.

Those three things probably wouldn't exist without the prequels.

I really enjoyed watching Palpatine maneuver politically. I hated the Clone Army but I liked the concept of him secretly sparking a war as Darth Sideous so he could steal liberties and power as Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Still, the whole Clone Army thing sucked.

Liam Neeson, and a few cool looking scenes.

But yeah, I complimented them enough and now am obligated to reiterate that they are - in fact - garbage.

Ah, yes! Thanks for reminding me!

I'll accept the awfulness of the films for Battlefront II alone. I love that game.

Jar Jar Binks. What I actually found him to be funny when I was a good and i still get a slight chuckle with him around. Honestly, he doesn't deserve half the hate he receives imho.

The music was simply fantastic (Duel of the Fates especially so), the scenery was absolutely gorgeous (George Lucas, for all of his faults, is a very good visual director), and they helped give us the Star Wars Lego sets and by extension the Lego crossover games, which are some of my favorite video game experiences ever. They're far from the best science fiction movies I've ever seen, but I have seen significantly worse.

And after the abomination that was The Twins, Jar-Jar Binks is actually tolerable. Offensive he may be, I don't think George was being genuinely bigoted with him. Also, George was smart enough to lower Jar-Jar's role to a few small cameos in the rest of the movies, so he does at least listen to the fans.

Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Chistopher Lee, the overall art direction, and Liam Neeson.

Seriously, say what you will about the prequels, but you simply have to admit that they're freaking beautiful, 'specially compared to the original's blander than a blandy Sammich with extra Bland sauce visuals, and I find that the soundtrack is superiour to the original trilogy's is. Seriously, The 'Imperial March' is the only theme worth remembering from the original, while the PT's have such beauties as 'Duel of the Fates' and 'Clash of the Heroes,' along with the ambient music in general.

Beyond that, the aforementioned Battlefront 2 and Republic Commando games, neither of which would have existed without the prequel trilogies. From what little I've seen of it, the Clone Wars is alright, but I haven't seen enough of it to judge it fairly.

Also, did I remember to mention Liam Neeson?

John Williams' score, as usual, was simply amazing. Other than that...well, the execution of Order 66 was pretty neat. Shame about everything leading up to it...and after it.

Order 66 when all of the random Jedi that were thrown in died, and Anakin stopped being a whiny *****. Oh and the KotOR series and SWTOR, seriously bioware has gave me new hope for the franchise(no pun intended).

Without them the Clone Wars cartoon wouldn't have happened.
You know the one I'm talking about. And if you don't, shame on you.
SHAME.

Also, Darths & Droids [http://www.darthsanddroids.net/episodes/0195.html].

I liked them all...in fact I'd rather watch #1 over #5

My favourite being 6th

Least favourite (i'm gonna need a flame fortress for this one)
A new hope #4. I've watched all of the movies a couple of times each and I just didn't like 4 or 5 at all really :/.

overall I liked the prequels more... (since the 6th won't make up for 4 and 5)

I'm not trolling, I'm serious :(. just my opinion^ to be fair I haven't watched the movies in a long time though and i'm in the mood to form new opinions on things.

The music is epic in the way only John Williams can make it.
It's tough say the fights, because as pretty as they all were, I didn't give a crap about the boring characters taking part in them. Props to the CGI team, though.

the lightsaber duels put the original trilogy's duels to shame, obviously. i would say that this is my favorite thing about the prequel trilogy.

also, the CGI is fantastic. and of course, just like in the original trilogy, the soundtracks are incredible.

and Ewan McGregor was excellent as Obi Wan

Oh come on, you guys you can't even see the most obvious one. The prequels and subsequent Star Wars material has kept Star Wars in the public consciousness thus continued to perpetuate it on to a new generation and to ensure that the main stream remembers the little sci-fi genera movie. Even the most hardcore hater should be able to recognize that if no new material comes our for long enough then a franchise fades into obscurity and goes away forever. If you really love the movie so much you should at least want that. (course I'm talking to generally unpleaseable people anyways...)

Palpatine's rise to power is the one thing the prequels did really well, it's actually believeable, unlike most of the rest of the stuff that happens.

Well, I enjoyed Episode 1 at the time, and I actually sort of liked Jar Jar Binks. Oh, I can see how he's awful NOW, but my inner child still harbors a smidge of affection for him. Also, some of the Lego models, like for the rolling destroyer droids and the bongo, are pretty damn cool.

Episode 2 had some sweet visuals. I really liked the Kaminoans (sp?) and their galaxy eyes. The sonic shockwave bombs have a cool enough aesthetic - dead silence, followed by boom - but the whole "sonic waves in space" thing makes me grind my molars into powder.

Episode 3... um... I'm having a hard time remembering it. Didn't Yoda do some lightsaber fighting and actually came off kind of badass?
