Sequels everyone wants but stupid companies won't make

Sacrifice. Although, come to think of it, a new game in the Sacrifice universe, if not done with extreme caution, could really diminish the perfection of the first. Maybe just a graphical update... that would be wicked. What can a man say, I love Sacrifice.

Well, Homeworld needs a sequel, and of course.... Advent *Frakkin* Rising! Seriously, I loved that game's story, and I want more. MORE!!!
Don't!!! don't let square enix ruin it like they ruined X for me with X-2. That game makes me want to punch a kitten. They chopped up everything cool and turned it into little Japanese pop girly bits (btw I'm a chick and its still severely uncool)US Crash Fire said:
ontopic: I'm with the crowd clamoring for Bioware (or Obsidian) to just make more KOTOR and Jade Empire. I've done very well so far to stay far away from mmo's but the damn second the Old Republic hits I know my addiction is just a matter of time. They can't just say everyone dies, the end.
i agree, that is one of my favourate games (as long as it has the orginal charactors in that is)
I agree with this as long as there's no massive dumbing down. I know they gradually made the series less of a simulator and more actiony as they went, and that was ok because you could see where they were coming from. It just helped make it a bit more user friendly. But that dumbing down to MechAssault and it's sequel was dire. I finished those and never touched them since.VoyagerI said:

I'd have to say Psychonauts or Golden Sun or Baldur's gate - but at the same time the sequels would probably be heavily disappointing.
I don't really understand why some companies are so scared of money that they avoid sequels, even while all their fans would buy them, but some (like final fantasy, which I have nothing against - I've played a few of them) don't. Then again, as I said above, maybe they don't want to mess it up and end up with all their fans hating them.
