@CA Well, that's probably just because I play a lot and read up on all the different strategies and all that. I don't even like to play those kinds of combos since you pretty much just spend the whole game digging for your combo pieces. I much prefer synergies to combos as those kinds of strategies can still work even if you don't all the cards you need to do everything you want to.
Which is why I'm rather excited about this Heartless Summoning deck I'm brewing. Yes, Heartless Summoning may seem to make my little dudes useless, but the way I have it set up now, anything with a toughness of one will have an ability that triggers when it dies or enters the battlefield. Such as Perilous Myr, which becomes a free shock with Heartless Summoning out. Pair those two with Glissa the Traitor and you can kill everything on your opponents side of the field with a toughness of two or less. And of course, each of those cards are just fine on their own, so I'm not dead in the water until I draw the three. And that's not even the main focus of the deck, just a neat little side interaction. Yea, it has a drawback, but with a little ingenuity you can easily turn that to your advantage. Of course, I could be totally wrong, but my testing so far has been pretty good.
