@Neo: @Redlin: Why don't we make a new one? A lot of people in that group are inactive now anyway.
I guess we might as well. Doesn't make sense to not have control of it. Maybe still have a link to the original in the group description or something to acknowledge the heritage.

@Link: Pwahaha it was so brilliant I didn't really care I was screwed over. It's movie-material I tell you ;).

@WP: As opposed to near zero activity? I thought the doubles round was exciting precisely because it was hectic. But that's just me. I love action movies and turning off my brain.

@GameApathy: Perhaps the GM could be given more power to drive this RP. Provide scenario based situations every other round or something like that. I would, of course, be a lot more work for the GM prior to getting the game going.

Saying that, I remember the last time I played Werewolf, there were these in-game scenarios we bought. On of these was that the villagers held a seance together to speak to one of the dead. They would get to ask a question (which were also predetermined) about details that werewolf bore, but the dead could only answer yes or no.

So... it's a negatory on the SK Classic, then? Even just for novelty? :/

I still stand by my point that adding more roles doesn't fix the problem. It still makes the people with no roles feel even more inadequate and contribute even less. Plus adding more roles just feels like it's needlessly changing Serial Killer way too much. Just doesn't feel right to me...

... Y'know, this is actually a pretty good idea. I'm surprised we haven't thought of this before. I mean, this is essentially an RP game, so why haven't we been doing a lot of RPing? Hell, that might even motivate us to write up our deaths, with the scenarios already given to us.

I'm not exactly sure what made me enter the Killtona, it?s one of those races where you either live or you die and the odds were 31/1 against me. Doesn't help that some psycho with a chip off his shoulder has taken it upon himself to eliminate the drivers one by one. Of course that makes the others jittery, taking whoever they think is the killer of the track, can?t really say I'm innocent though, I've taken part in the lynching. When the odds are stacked against you, you?ll do anything to increase your chances.

It was all going well, but you know when you start thinking like that something goings to go wrong.

Drivers were being taken out left and right, but they were ignoring me, taking out the bigger fish as it were. I had gotten into 12th position (well it had gotten to the point where there were only 12 places, so I guess it?s not much to celebrate), the crowd was cheering, and I was on a adrenaline high.

The good times only last so long.

That Psycho I mentioned earlier, had got his eye out for me.

You?d think when you die, you?d have an out of body experience, the world slows down and you see your life flashing before your eyes. Not really though, people just say that to make you feel better I guess.

@War: I like the "classic" idea. Maybe then allegiances would be formed and more activity would occur. Or, on the other hand, it could be a jumbled mess of people who don't care enough to coordinate votes. I suppose it depends on who is playing. I know that I am a bit paranoid about contacting people (also, inattentive).

As for changing SK too much, I'm a bit of a newer player and less of a purist. I came in around the time when new roles were being introduced, and I really liked how things were always shifting. Personally, I prefer to think of SK as an evolving game.

@Roles in general: I don't think adding extra roles would necessarily be a bad thing. Even if the roles aren't all incredibly essential to the game, I do think that they add the potential for writing material. That's what was so awesome about the Entwined. Sure, they didn't affect the game considerably, but I really dug what Link and Malyc put together when I was GM. We could use more stuff like that.

@GM Driven Events: Cool. An wide-reaching story about the cycle really deserves to be explored.

@Zero_ctrl: I truly hope it's the former. :p

Again, I just want to try it out. For novelty at least, just like an occasional double's round.

@Death: Well in amidst all the discussion we had a very nice first-time death. Thank you MP.

[HEADING=1]MORTIFIEDPENGUIN HAS BEEN MURDERED![/HEADING]

[HEADING=2]Yes the Penguins are now extinct in this SK Round. Who's responsible for such a heinous crime against my prospective butlers? Vote now to see if you get it right this time![/HEADING]

@MP: Really? Seems so longer ago I couldn't remember. Well then I downgrade it to a pretty good second death.

You kind of passed by that part of my post I guess. <.<

Also, remaining voters: DO YOU HAVE A PLAN TO KILL THE MURDERER?

Well golly me. I missed that. Huh. My bad. Still, I would prefer full on no roles. Except just Spy and Medic for normal rounds. Yeah, I guess I am a purest, aren't I. :p

@Red: As Gordon Freeman once aptly said "If this is what being dead is like, then being dead sucks!"
