I would like to something else to everyone's attention. If we take a look at the original suspicious post by Dema.

@Hippo: So that's what it looks like when we get saved... YAY Medic! I think that's the first time you've been useful since I started playing... and you saved a fellow Canadian! Long Live BeerTent!
If we assume Demagogue is the Medic I'd ask this question - how would he know which of the 5 people on the list was saved? Sure he'd know someone was saved but how would he know it was definitely BeerTent? He didn't just celebrate that someone was saved but rather than someone in particular was saved. There's nothing posted by the GM as far as I'm aware that would inform the Medic who was actually saved.

The only way I can figure that Demagogue knew BeerTent was saved is by him being the Killer himself.

@Caramel and gritch: I assumed the Medic gets told who they saved, that's what I did when I was the GM. Though that was a while ago...

@Dema: One last thing, how did you know it was BeerTent who got saved? Did Hippo PM you?

~eyes you shiftily~ I'm not 100% convinced... this would still be fairly easy to fake if you know what you're doing.

I also want to know the answer to this...

According to the rules, the target gets notified, not the medic. So it is definitely a point of evidence against Demagogue. Suspicions on the rise...

Not the first time rules have been done off.

Heh, more people should, it really adds to the game I think.. Also, I think you're pirate is absolutely fantastic. You're bloody aces in my book.

... Isn't that right Armadox? Killing our Spy for no reason other than to have a laugh.
Ah, but you see, what other reason is there?

@Armadox: I just love your comics. That is all I will say.
Thank you. That's how I plan to win my round, by the way. I'm not even going to hide I'm the killer. I'm just going to draw everyone getting done in, and sit back knowing that I won't get lynched as everyone waits to see who I'll draw next. :p

Since the crew has asked, this is my policy on voting (though I'm actually against Democracy as a principle, ye rebellious scum):

As long as it is within the time limit, you can recast your vote any time. There's nothing against it in the rules, and I know I've cast my vote in haste, or because I wasn't sure if I would remember or be around to do it later.

However, I'll be ending the voting round preemptively if I receive all of the votes, since there's no reason to drag everything out any longer than needs be. So I'd still recommend making sure you're vote is as you want it to be as soon as possible. THAT IS NOT a reason to vote for somebody random just because you know you can change it later, so watch out and don't piss me off, or I'll 'ave your guts for garters!

@Everyone who asked (I'll edit/tag people when I get to work) I wanted to get this to you before I left the house and had to start editting all the work stuff out of my screenshots. THIS is why I knew it was BeerTent. Hippo was letting me know my list was too long, and tossed it in as an aside I guess.

I'll read/respond to the rest when I get to the office.

edits at work:

For Comparison this is the SS from work:

We don't actually have print screens at work, we have an application called SnagIT that overwrites that function in windows. It essentially lets you take a screen shot of a specific area of your screen. (and handles scrolling, it is awesome) but yeah so red part is work stuff and my other monitor is cut right out (it is my desktop with a bunch of work files). Not that there are a lot of messages for me left to share, but if you want anything today, this is what they will look like.

@Arma: Okay that comic made me giggle.

(also tagged those curious as to how I knew)

You know IE has the same Web Developer tools that Chrome has? I mean sure it's a little more frustrating to work with but it can still be done fairly easily (I've worked in Web Development in case anyone was wondering how I know this).

To prove my point I'll make my own IE screenshot claiming that Hippo sent me a message saying I'm a 10 foot tall bright pink bunny... and I'll change the year it was sent to 1992...

[http://imgur.com/ciOULt9]

So my question is why should we believe you when it's possible that all your proof could have been faked relatively easily?

@Shazsky

Actually I didn't, I knew it was possible in Chrome in Firefox, but not in IE until Aero told me yesterday...

@Dema: Hmm...

First thing, it is actually possible to alter website text in Internet Explorer. You are probably not a proficient coder and I believe you when you said you didn't know that because you aren't ghost quoting in this thread - a proper coder would know how to do it.

Further, looking at your post history you are definitely one of the more active players. Because of this it's likely you know I code based on what I've said last round. Very unlikely you lied because if you know you can edit text on IE, then of course I would also.

Also, change day today at work, so I'll be less responsive to things.

PS - Oh WinAMP... how I miss you... heh.

Quiet morning... I wonder how many people are left to vote... @Fat_Hippo could we possibly get a count? or does that break some rule?

Ehhh...I feel like it should be fine, in this instance. Don't really see how anyone could abuse this information. Especially since I'm allowing the recasting of votes.

Anyway, still 6 votes missing.

@Dema: There's never been a rule on votes being re-cast, so it's always up to the current GM.

Personally I think players should be able to make a second vote to replace their first all the time because critical info could be presented halfway through voting time and it would punish players who had the audacity to vote early.

@Hippo: Thanks! :)

@Aero: Yeah... whenever this round finishes I think it is something we should bring up in the chat and get some solid definitions around. I agree with you that people should be able to re-vote at any time, but it 1) means more work for the GM and 2) means the GM has to be very clear about when voting ends. (after 24h or once all votes are cast)

Agreed. Since we don't have a set turn structure (voting at this time on this day, etc), I feel one free recast is necessary to allow for votes in bad faith. Until the last few turns where revoting would be devastating to the killer. As is, it's incredibly hard for the killer to make it passed the first 4 cycles..

A bit more defining of terms for voting might allow for slightly longer rounds.

The rules actually say something about this:
"The game's voting has a strictly enforced time limit. All participants have TWO DAYS at absolute most to cast their votes."

Which is why I tried to be very clear in my voting phase announcement until when people have to cast their votes.
