Maybe the backup died as well (can happen), so don't just draw crap out of thin air.Eri said:Incompetence, plain and simple. No backups? Idiotic rookie mistake. Having the ability to accidentally delete it ALL so easily? Idiotic rookie mistake #2.RedEyesBlackGamer said:How does a blunder that big happen?
accidentally deleted during server maintenance.
I support microtransactinos for a single reason: free games. i never buy stuff in microtrnasaction stores. guess im the "loss" guy for them. the only games i play money for are singleplayer. and theres way too many free online games to care. i let the rich pay for me, be it micrtransactions, ingame currency trade or whatever. And it works, just look how LOL beat WOW in hours/week played. The shutdown brings the whole microtransction model into question. If persistent games can disappear so abruptly, and for such an easily avoidable reason, then all of a sudden those fancy in-game items don't seem like such a solid investment. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some hats to sell.

How does this happen, exactly?
I doubt they have to make the effort, as most likely the entire development company is just going to be dissolved.devotedsniper said:Someone gonna get fired..
