Sexting. What's your opinion on it?

I think most of you know about Sexting. The act of sending nude pictures over phones. Some of you might know that the you can get in a lot of trouble with it too. Teens who are apart of sexting and are caught can be prosecuted with child porn charges and sometimes have to register as a sex offender. Yet, people still do it.

What do guys/gals think about it?

no seriously in highschool we have horros tries of people who sexted a friend that would then mass text it to 90 people over the coures of a few days. ick

but that the THE WORST in my school. one of our teachers GOT ARRESTED for sexting his fiance.
no really he had naked pic of him on his phone from sexting her, and he was bragging to his class one day about his cat and how cute it was, he gave his phone to a student with a pic of the cat loaded on the screen, she later scrolled through the pics and found the other less nice stuff, and then told administration. he was fired, charged with several crimes and is now a sex offender. his fiance dumped him and he has to live with his parents because he can't enter out town as of right now. his life was ruined. and it's unfair, but it happened. i liked the teacher and REALLY wanted a class with him because he was supposed to be of the more relaxed teachers, and people always said he tough math in a way that they REALLY understood. dammit

I don't have anything against the people who do it, but it seems so stupid. Once that picture's on someone else's phone, you have absolutely no control over it, and it could come back to haunt you at any time.

Also a friend of mine did this, i think he sent the pictures to the wrong person... it did not go down well. In person you can be pretty sure about who sees you. And as mr Cavan said they dont have a photo, and as we consider that most peoples current relationship will not last you will be on the interwebz...

Text isn't so bad (I still felt ridiculous), but I can't even fathom sending nudes. Both seem silly. Why would you anyways? It's no where near as satisfying as the real thing..

Depends on local laws. In my state the age of consent is 18 unless you're withen 3 years of the younger party. Most states have similar rules.
