"You pick, I don't mind," Jenna said as she buckled herself in. "I like the car, is it yours?"

What nation is this town in? I want to know, because of the whole drinking age, deal. Also, goodnight.

"Yeah. Graduation present." Micah said, half-truthfully. "I paid for part of it, and it's in my name. Let's see... We could go to the new Wing Joint downtown. I hear they're pretty good. Does that sound alright to you?"

"Sure, I guess I could go for something new." Jenna started winding her hair around a finger again as she looked at Micah's face out of the corner of her eye, half-smiling, but thinking about Nate at the same time.

"Alright, then." Micah answered Jenna. "Hey, can you tell Lyla where we're going? I'll call Tori."

Micah called Tori on her cellphone and told her where they were going to go.

"Do you guys need a ride, Tori?" Micah asked her. "Or are you fine on your own?"

"Wing place eh? Ok, sounds good to me. No, I am almost back at my house, I can drive there, ok, I will see you there." Tori hung up the phone and the two of them rounded the corner, she saw her 1980 Honda and pointed, "There is my sweet ride, you like wings?"

Sorry LITV, its a lot for you to respond to in one post

Micah hung up the phone, and began driving to their destination. After Jenna had let Lyla know where they were going, Micah turned up the radio a bit, as a good song had come on. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Jenna looking at him with a half-smile.

Good, a smile. Micah thought to himself. A smile meant she was cheering up, which was a good sign.

"Alright... Here we are." Micah said, pulling into the parking lot of the restaurant and parking his car. He left the windows open a crack, and locked the doors. "It's a nice enough day, maybe we can get one of the tables on the patio."

What to do today. Could play soccer... Or go for a drive. I should call Lucy-

As Nate tugged on a pair of (surprisingly) clean jeans, the phone on the glass table began to vibrate. Slowly, he looked up and glanced at the glowing screen.

Victoria L.

With a quick tug on the zipper, he picked up the phone and held the shaking device tight in his grip. He hesitated- why pick up now? Plenty of other people had called and texted before. Why Tori?

Nathan hit the call button and raised the phone to one ear. "Hey."

You are still calling me, right Shaps? Or no? xD There's a lot of phone-action going on here.

"Nate! Finally, I have been calling you for days! Where the hell have you been?" Tori excused herself from Josh and left the car for a moment, she squinted and put her sunglasses back on, "Seriously Nate, quit moping around and leave the house, have you even visited Lucy since the party? Jesus man, pull yourself together! I'm coming by and you are coming to lunch with me and some other friends, get ready."

Tori quickly hung up the phone and got back in the car.

Lyla got the text message from Jenna telling her where they were gonna meet up. "Wing Joint. I have no clue where that is."

After a few minutes of driving around aimlessly she finally arrived at the restaurant. "Finally! It only took forever to find this place." She put the car into park and turned it off. She got out of the car and immediately spotted Jenna and Micah.

"Hi guys", she said as she walked over to them. "So how are you guys doing on this blistering summer day?"

Joshua got in to the older car and shut the door. It sounded healthy, it wasn't the Lexus, but he was sick of all the rich kid stuff that had went on in his life, "Wings?" he asked, "Sure I could go for that."

"Sounds good, I don't really feel like sitting inside in this weather," Jenna answered as she looked around the place. A car door closed loudly nearby, and Jenna turned to see Lyla approaching.

"Hey, Lyla," she said with a short wave.

"There you are, Lyla." Micah said as Lyla pulled up in her car. "Come on, let's go inside."

Micah and the girls walked into the restaurant, Micah opening the door for them, and were greeted by the hostess.

"Can I get a table for... five, I think?" Micah said hesitantly. "Yeah, five. On the patio, please."

They were led to a table outside on the patio, which was covered with an awning that provided some shade, and a bit of respite from the heat. They had a good eye on the parking lot, so they would know when Tori got here. Their waitress took their drink orders, and the relaxed.

"So, Lyla... You said that there was a fight at the party?" Micah asked.

Lyla sat across the table from Micah and Jenna.

"The fight?" Lyla's thoughts went back to the fight and she couldn't help but chuckle. It had been her first fight after all. "It was certainly.. eventful. Tori fought with Jessica and I fought with Amanda. I think she kinda won though.. She had me in a headlock when Nate broke it all up. I did manage to punch her in the face though. Also, Tori got really, really drunk during the fight."

Nathan blinked and stared at the phone; Tori had called and hung up all in one second, her request for company more of a demand than anything. He ended the call and slipped the Blackberry into one pocket, and turned toward his closet.

Well... She's damn right, he sighed. Grabbing a white T-shirt, he headed for the washroom, feeling a little more energized as he went. A cool shower helped wake him further. After redressing, he dabbed a pea-sized lump of gel in one hand and moved his hair about in organized disarray. Deciding to leave the stubble that covered the lower regions of his face, Nathan slipped into a pair of skating shoes by the bedroom door and left to grab a quick breakfast before Tori's arrival.

A loud banging interrupted Nathan's breakfast, Tori pounded on the wooden door and the sound resonated throughout the whole house. Worried that Nate was still in bed, she began ringing the doorbell, a very loud, and very annoying ringing now replaced the pounding,

"Come on Nate, lets go, I have had enough of your sobbing and whining, come meet the new kid." the door finally opened and Tori sighed, "Good, your dressed, are you ready? I'm not taking no for an answer lets go."

Nathan froze, staring at Tori as she stood in the doorway. A piece of buttered toast hung limply from his teeth as his hands were preoccupied pouring a glass of orange juice. After a moment, he swallowed the mouthful, downed the entire glass, and strode toward Tori.

"You sure do know how to be persuasive," he replied with a grin. He snatched a wallet from a table by the door and slid it into his back pocket.

"Can I know at least where we're going? And who's there?"

It had been at least thirty minutes as Drake sat down on the bench. He was already finished with his food but he was sitting down letting the effects of his medicine pass. The warped feeling in his eyes finally died down as his blurred vision slowed to a stop. Someone walking by looked in his eyes for a moment, "Are you feeling okay kid." Surprised slightly Drake flashed his eyes over and leaned up. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks you." The kid walked away once more as Drake sighed and stood up. "I should get back."

As he began his walk he heard a distinct ring tone that only belonged to two people. He reached in his pocket and pulled out the phone. Looking at the name he smiled slightly.

"Hey Devaughn, what's up?"

"Nothing much. Fridge is empty so I am gonna hit the store."

"Sure I could use a ride."

"Yeah, just meet me at my apartment."

"Alright, see you in 10. Peace."

He picked up his pace slightly so he could be sure to be home when his cousin arrived. He was surprised that his cousin decided to still do things with him but he was glad. Not many talked to him let alone. He didn't let it bother him though. Knowing too many people complicated things. Devaughn hated hearing him speak like that but its how he thought and it really wouldn't go away till he was proved wrong. Finally he reached his apartment just as Devaughn showed up.

Devaughn leaned out his corvette and smiled, "Showing off that weak body of yours Drake."

"Ah shut it and drive man." Drake said as he hopped in the car punching him softly in the arm. Devaughn was like the brother he never knew.

"Ya well I am not going to just let you mope around! And we're going to some wing place... actually I don't know where it is..." Tori walked along side Nate and looked at his scraggly beard, "What the hell is that? You haven't even shaved for these few days and thats all you can grow? Pathetic!"

Tori laughed and opened her door, Nathan slid in behind her and they both put their seatbelt on,

"Nate, this is Josh, he just moved here from the big city, New York!" Tori introduced the two boys then started the car, "We re going to meet Micah, Lyla and Jenna, have some lunch, get you out of the house!"

She jerked out of the driveway and sped down the road toward the downtown area.

Joshua took Nathan's hand, shaking it firmly, "Its good to meet you. Meanwhile his mind was processing this new person, Hmmm seems unkempt, slightly sad, oh well sure he'll be fine.

He turned to Tori, smiling, "So is this the last stop? I'm looking forward to meeting these people."
