I got a dream that's been keeping me up for the past 2 nights.

It begins with me waking up under water (still able to breath, somehow). I seem to be at the bottom of some lake, with rays of light coming down through the dark water. I keep swimming forward and i see a mound (like a grass covered hill) with a door in it. I open the door and suddenly i'm in a sunken car ferry, and there are people all over frozen in positions that would look completely normal, provided they weren't on the bottom of a dark lake. I swim through the rows of people, increasing my speed to get out of there as fast as possible. As i near the front of the boat, something grabs me from behind, then i wake up.

Second time, i tried to avoid the door as much as possible, but everywhere i swam, the door appeared in front of me. The sunken car ferry was still the same: I woke up as i reached the end of the ferry, when something grabbed me from behind.
:I
so yeah. shitty dream.
Why not try fucking around with the people who are frozen in position?

Stick a finger up someone's bum.
See what happens.

You know that dream when you're at school and you turned up naked? Yep. Three times.

I was twelve and had just seen The Prophecy. That night I dreamt that Christopher Walken was perched on my bedpost, whispering horrible things into my brain... I woke up and spent the rest of the night staring into the was wall for fear of turning around and discovering that he was still there.

The only dreams I have that put me in a shitty mood are the ones where I dream about working and then have to get up to go to work.

Nothing that even compares to whatever that was I read in the OP though...

I don't remember my dreams that often, but for the past few years I've had the same type of dreams every time I do; me, doing my normal day to day shit.
Not only is it shitty in that it isn't intresting in the least, it also really fucks up my perception since I have trouble telling the dreams from reality after I've woken up.

Guess it doesn't really qualify for the thread, but it's all I got.

Oh man, my dreams are relatively normal compared to some of the things i've read on here. A lot of them seem to involve tornados...

Not exactly shitty, but certainly foreboding.

I can't remember the details, but there's just been a struggle of some sort. I'm fatigued and have a slight headache and holding a revolver. I'm in a bathroom, looking in the mirror and concludes that I've got several nasty cuts and bruises, and my glasses are cracked. Then, something beckons from the front room.

I walk out into the room, which is flooded with late afternoon sunlight and dust. A weird crow-like creature, managing to look a bit like a sculpted stone archway as well, stands by the balcony door. It raises its wings and roars at me: "Wake up! Time to die!"

I lift the revolver, utterly uninterested for some reason and then I wake up.

It was very, very weird... Maybe there's an Old One in the basement or something.
Maybe in the future you'll be a badass demon hunter?

I occasionally have dreams where I'm driving around, fairly relaxed, when suddenly I realise that I'm sitting in the passenger seat, or in the back, and I start to panic, and try and climb into the driver's seat and steer the car properly before I crash into something.
It always seems to happen when I'm on a really busy/complex bit of road too, just to make it even more nerve-wracking.

I always wake up before anything bad happens, but it's just the sudden realisation that I'm actually doing it completely wrong, and struggling to get back on track that makes the dream quite uncomfortable.

I've started having paralysis dreams, where I find myself in danger and can't move or run away.

I've had three this week; in the first I was about to be attacked by a snake, in the second I was lying in bed and something horrible was coming down a hallways towards me, and the third was one of those dreams where you think you're actually awake. I was lying in my bed and a hand suddenly reached across me, a lecherous old man's voice said 'You're a pretty one, aren't you' and I realised I was about to be raped, thinking someone had broken into the house.

All three times I had to mentally shake myself awake and it's not been fun.

Please. None of you guys get to have sword fights with Dracula, or explore an island inhabited by an army of robot dinosaurs, or get involved in a deadly game of cat and mouse with talking ferrets in your dreams?
I pity you all.

"FACT: Dreams are just the subconscious mind's way of reminding you to go to school naked and have your teeth fall out." -Fact sphere

I killed a room full of people with a bat once... very graphically too :/
(They were vampires, of course, but still, it was fucked up)

Ooh, I forgot the best one. In a cyberpunk castle. Defended by cowboys. Being invaded by radioactive zombies. With a portal gun. Hell. Yes.

The two most recent ones I can think of were both very odd and detailed due to the Chantix I've been on. (Which has me have smoking dreams constantly too)

The first one I had a while back involved having a terminal disease where my parents were my doctors. They were trying to help and take care of me but it ended up getting them to fight (my parents have been divorced for years). In which I started yelling back at them and tried to walk away when we were outside. I got so stressed out about it I caused myself to have a stroke or a heart attack or something. And my vision blurs as I fall to the ground... a few seconds later I opened my eyes in a morgue and then woke up.

The one I had last night was just about myself hanging out with an older woman (as friends). And us going to a corner store where Sherlock Holmes (played by Robert Downey Jr.) was signing books. Then for 6 dollars you could buy papyrus and get him to sign that too, which I almost did but woke up while I was paying for it after being in line for like 5 minutes.

Well last nights dream involved me being held prisoner in some sort of desert nation in which they assured everyone that they can't escape. I got the impression that there was a war going on.

But wait! said I, there is a beach right over I can see it and I've always been an awesome swimmer.

So I took off towards the beach only to find when I got there that there was guy after guy guarding my way off said beach so I kind of ran past them all like I was playing some sort of crazy game of British bulldog and managed to get onto the part of the beach that wasn't under their control.

I was suddenly then with a little ginger kid who had apparently escaped with me and he said he could help me out and take me to his home. His mum sent us to get some shopping.

We then ended up in a leisure center hiding from a giant werewolf.

So...yeah eventful night.

Once I had a dream where I made milloins of dollars and was living in some big, fancy mansion. And just as I was enjoying it, some random guy walked up to me while I was swimming in my giant pool and said "You're dreaming. Wake up, dipshit". And then I woke up.

Geez dream, You didn't have to be so honest. ._.

Oh, have I gotz stories to tell you!

-A recent dream had me play a leading role in a movie/play/thing set in the Battle of The Atlantic in WWII that was starring Alec Baldwin. For whatever reason, it was being filmed inside the local Tesco. Before filming a scene, I ended up getting into an argument with Baldwin, since he was pushing me around and talking down to me. Lot's of swearing from my mouth.

-Another had me go to school... ONLY IT WASN'T MY SCHOOL! It was all hexagony and werdly designed. I was bummed to be back at school, and then got paranoid over what Calculus I was taking. So, when I woke up, I looked over my schedule again in fear, only to discover that I wasn't taking Calculus at all this year.

-Another back long ago when I went to my ACTUAL school in my dream, only now all the lights shone blue, creating a wierd blue aura around everything. Some friends of mine were lauging over the intercom. A hand touched my shouder, I turn around, and now I'm awake, my Dad's trying to wake me up, AND I HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL THAT DAY!!!

I had a dream in which I was on a cruise and won a competition. The prize was a sexy lady to have my way with. So I went in but I had no protection. I went to the local sex shop on the cruise liner to get my stuff. Unfortunately some religious guy had made a big rant about contraception in the news so this shop was no longer selling such things. When I came back with the bad news she suggested wrapping a plastic bag around it. I decided I'd just pull out when I was done.
Then she got a magazine out and said she needed something to read while she fainted, because she always faints during sex and it's just no fun without a decent mag.

Then just as I was about to start, I woke up.

That was a pretty weird one.

Apparently, certain dreams like teeth falling out and going to school naked are really common. I've never had any dreams like this.
