Yeah, we've never seen any of those things in games before. /sarcasm
Very rarely. The only dead children in a game I can recall would be The Night Mother's Crypt in Oblivion.

I can't recall any nudity at all in a game, and the most 'realistic' violence I've seen would be from Condemned.

Does it reflect bad on me when I immediately thought "he that sounds cool"?
Not as much as it might do on me, where my immediate thoughts were "meh, seen that before"
Ah, but have you seen all three together?

"I rarely find a serious film by a major director to be this disturbing," critic Roger Ebert said of the film. "Its images are a fork in the eye. Its cruelty is unrelenting. Its despair is profound." Blogging at Time.com, Richard and Mary Corliss described the film as "the spectacle of a director going mad."
Honest to god, that does seem like the type of film that generates more hatred than Saw ever has.

Nonetheless, Zentropa, Myst [http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001885/]" that will require gamers to upload a profile describing their greatest fears so the game can adjust to "challenge" them.
Whilst the technology behind something like that does seem impressive, we have had more advanced stuff and the controversy this technology will geneate will cause problems for the makers of it.

"Dead kids, nudity, graphic violence. It will be a very controversial game, and it'll be a game that doesn't really compare with anything else."
The sheer controversy that game merely brings will be enough to put people off it. It it does get made, there'll be a good chance it will be banned in quite a few countries, and also that it will definately be an adult release in the countries it isn't banned in.

Something that violent will face some shocking legal competition probably.

Dead kids: Max Payne dead baby segment.
Nudity: Godfather 2.
Realistic Violence: Manhunt.

Just thought I'd toss one more of each example out there.

How wide was the release of Antichrist in the US? I was in Rome when it was released, and it was in quite a few theaters (and many more church bulletins) there.

There is much Satanism entering the media. Besides this movie and its game to be spawned soon yesterday I was at the video store renting the 6th season of Family Guy and noticed on the B-rated movie table a DVD of Satanic nature with Mistress Juliya from FUSE TV.

We may soon be looking at Satanism as not just a choice of religion for some people but as a new media genre since it has now been spread throughout public media types. Music, TV, Movies, and now Video Games.

FP adventure?!?! I am in!
Metroid Prime with dead kids and goat rape? Intruiging. Let's hope those things are described in painstaking detail as well.
I did very much enjoy Call of cuthuluu I'll have you know. ^_~
Besides Metroid prime only solidified the phrase, Hell Unreal/Turok 2 were FP adventure in the guise of a shooter, Half life was a close to begin a FP adventure, ect, ect.
