Having never been into the clubbing scene, is getting a boner while grinding a faux pas or expected?

If you're attractive, expected. If not, a huge faux pas :p

Seriously though, I always found it weird how wild people get at clubs. Seems really unhygienic to just make out with strangers and get everyone's sweat on you.
Well most of 'em are drunk as hell and the rest of them both drunk AND high on eccey's. There's also a pretty heavy drive to scoring in Nightclubs so a bit of sweat isn't a big deal when you’re getting fucked against the bathroom stall.

If the gods returned, telling their followers that they were taking an active and direct hand in running the world again according to each deity's world-view/ethics. . . . . who would scream in terror the loudest? Christian televangicals or every pretty woman in Greece?

I've been thinking of buying some more of those old 90s action martial movies that went straight-to-VHS. Mainly the Best of the Best box set. I vaguely remember watching the first two movies on Cinemax or USA when I was about 7ish, but never saw 3 or 4. I will get the box set for the schlocky action movie sequels. It's ironic, that despite their schlock, these movies have good or great fight choreography that is and has aged better than a lot of the shit from the 2000s that tried being like the Bourne franchise. Based from the clips I've watched from each one on YouTube. Honestly, there was a lot of crap that came straight to home video, but there is plenty out there that is good. Or at least has some entertainment factor.

Foundation. This is an amazing TV series based on the books of Isaac Asimov. The Cleons plot was the most interesting plot in the show, I could watch an entire series about them. In the meantime, The Expanse is coming out in Dec and so is Lost in Space. It's been a good time for sci-fi fans!

After sitting through yet another Christmas at Rockefeller Plaza last night, I've decided wholesomeness just isn't my thing. I just get ill watching such pure fake joy and brazen happiness like that. I don't' enjoy the Rockettes; I don't' care which famous stars they mustered up to perform the same, disgusting Christmas songs over and over again. And fuck that big-ass Christmas tree. I really hate this time of year.

It's the cynic in me. It's like the Today Show; my girlfriend watches it every morning, and my eyes roll so hard, I'm surprised they haven't stuck that way yet. Something about it just feels so phony and put on, the relationship between Hoda, Savannah, Al and Craig; I just can't respect it. Does that make me a bad person? I mean, I'm not anti-happiness; it's just needs to be more real and down-to-Earth for me. I like a good party, but gathering thousands of people to sing about Santa Clause for 2 hours is just too much. My gf thinks I'm a Grinch, and I'll own it, because I really don't like the holidays and the way it makes people act like there aren't 365 days a year to behave the way they pretend around Christmas.

I'm surprised Yahtzee didn't mention the cut dialogue in his Resident Evil 4 VR review. There were some pretty iconic cuts in the name of bizarre sanitization.

I mentioned this in the hot takes thread, but I really don't like playing RE4. It does nothing for me. I rather just play Evil Within 1 & 2, or almost any other over the shoulder survival horror games. The VR version would do nothing for me.

Guillermo del Toro should do a Christmas movie, like with Krampus or a dark twist on the traditional Santa Clause. It wouldn't even need to be good; I just want to see what twisted creatures he'd come up with.

I know it's an exaggeration to some degree, but this ever happened to anybody, or all that common? The worst I've ever gotten from a pizza place is the wrong dressing for my salad. Not even the cheapest pizza places in Detroit has ever shit this dumb before. Everyone in Michigan knows to get keep the salad separate from the pizza.

I'd say in my experience with pizza places, as limited as it is, that's pretty accurate: a metric fuck-ton of lettuce, veggies that require a fork AND knife, and usually sitting atop the pizza upon delivery giving it that warm and fuzzy wilted effect everyone wants from a salad. I don't even bother anymore; if I want a salad, I either make it myself, or more often, order from places offering something other than a "side" salad.

Is using compost cannibalism?
I'd quip that your existential crisis is showing, but that kind of question is clearly the mark of someone looking for crisis...

We don't really have pizza places like that here, the small, family-owned kinda shit. It's franchises as far as the eye can see. As such, pretty much everything in the salads are pre-prepared and measured according to corporate mandate. That said, they still are fucking awful. Especially with the salad getting warmed up by the pizza. Dressing is always lacking as well.

I'm not saying I don't have an existential crisis, but I'm not really following.

I meant that compost is made of dead plants, right? And plants feed off of compost. So compost is cannibalism for plants. Probably my bad for not explaining well enough.
