Well, there's this thread for example: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.323147-Skyrim-What-turned-out-to-be-bullshitnuba km said:can you give me a link to people on threads comparing it to fallout 3 because I can't find any person on the escapist saying it's like fallout 3, also that will not end up convincing me that skyrim has all those problems you have been talking about as me, my friends and about a dozen other people I have talked to about this game say otherwise.Duffeknol said:And yet the one universal critique I've been hearing everywhere (including these forums) is how the game basically feels like Fallout 3, ESPECIALLY the characters. Seriously, browse a few Skyrim threads and you'll see that I'm by far not the only person who thinks this.nuba km said:*clears throat*Duffeknol said:FINAL EDIT: Well guys, the game is out. All you skeptics and troll callers can now suck it. The animation of everyone except the protagonist is indeed as bad as I told you. Their movement is awkward, and they constantly run into walls and into each other. I lost count of how many times either me or my conversational partner have been shoved aside by another NPC. They turn around as slowly as I told you. They glitch and bob up and down stairs. The combat animations are still dry and dull, and they only they added are finishing moves (that don't even look spectacular thanks to ancient rag dolls). Does this make it a bad game? No, it still doesn't. Was I right about my criticism? Yes. I will now accept your written apologies.
WRONG! I didn't like oblivion that much but I love skyrim want to know why, it has wight to it's actions, bodies don't go flying like ragdoll (except for chain lightning and certain finishing moves), nearly 30 hours of playing and only 1 glitch, decent character animations, no soulless conversations (they still star at you the entire time though it is not nearly as creepy), the combat is thousands of times better (I hated the combat in oblivion I love skyrims combat). Also they even improved the difficult enemies so they aren't impossible at lower levels but just require more planning.
in short I don't know what version of skyrim you have been playing but it certainly isn't what me my friends, and everyone I have talked to on xbox live has been playing.
Also read some of the metacritic reviews, especially those in the range of 6-7.
Seriously, bro, I don't understand you at all. Just because something doesn't bother you doesn't mean it's not, you know, real.
