FINAL EDIT: Well guys, the game is out. All you skeptics and troll callers can now suck it. The animation of everyone except the protagonist is indeed as bad as I told you. Their movement is awkward, and they constantly run into walls and into each other. I lost count of how many times either me or my conversational partner have been shoved aside by another NPC. They turn around as slowly as I told you. They glitch and bob up and down stairs. The combat animations are still dry and dull, and they only they added are finishing moves (that don't even look spectacular thanks to ancient rag dolls). Does this make it a bad game? No, it still doesn't. Was I right about my criticism? Yes. I will now accept your written apologies.
*clears throat*
WRONG! I didn't like oblivion that much but I love skyrim want to know why, it has wight to it's actions, bodies don't go flying like ragdoll (except for chain lightning and certain finishing moves), nearly 30 hours of playing and only 1 glitch, decent character animations, no soulless conversations (they still star at you the entire time though it is not nearly as creepy), the combat is thousands of times better (I hated the combat in oblivion I love skyrims combat). Also they even improved the difficult enemies so they aren't impossible at lower levels but just require more planning.

in short I don't know what version of skyrim you have been playing but it certainly isn't what me my friends, and everyone I have talked to on xbox live has been playing.
And yet the one universal critique I've been hearing everywhere (including these forums) is how the game basically feels like Fallout 3, ESPECIALLY the characters. Seriously, browse a few Skyrim threads and you'll see that I'm by far not the only person who thinks this.
can you give me a link to people on threads comparing it to fallout 3 because I can't find any person on the escapist saying it's like fallout 3, also that will not end up convincing me that skyrim has all those problems you have been talking about as me, my friends and about a dozen other people I have talked to about this game say otherwise.
Well, there's this thread for example: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.323147-Skyrim-What-turned-out-to-be-bullshit

Also read some of the metacritic reviews, especially those in the range of 6-7.

Seriously, bro, I don't understand you at all. Just because something doesn't bother you doesn't mean it's not, you know, real.

1. this thread was made after you made the argument about people complaining about skyrim on the escapist
2. they are complaining about snow, some graphical issues (which bethesda is working on), strength of dragons (which can be solved by during up difficulty) and radiant AI. though these are issues they are not what the issues you complained about.
3. several people in fact have said that this is a massive improvement to oblivion (you said it was just a pretty looking oblivion) though one said it was only a slight change form new vages I must say new vages wasn't made by bethesda, bethesda has been working on skyrim since fallout 3.

Selective reading much?

'that and a new engine when it's obviously just modded gamebryo. The animations are still just as awful.'

...you DO know what gamebryo is, right?

after reading all the posts (over 110) I only saw 1 person complain about animations and 1 about there being no new creation engine, so you are trying to tell me you are right because less then 1% of skyrim players think the animations are bad?

Sigh, dude, listen.

You tell me that no one agrees with me. I tell you you're wrong. I give you an example of someone who does, which is honestly enough to prove my point. Even if it's a minority, there's still people who take issue with the animations. That was the whole point of this fucking dumb debate to begin with. You said no one agreed with me, you were wrong.

Only part OP got right was the conversation animations being dull. Other than that. Troll. He's wrong on basicly everything, thank the 8.
What fucking game have you been playing? Your Skyrim doesn't have ragdolls, glitchy animations and dumb physics? Give me your copy.
Yer a troll thats full of shit. Ive not had any probs with ragdolls, haven't had any glitchy animations nor any dumb physics. Crawl back under your bridge please.
And now I'm calling troll on you. You have not played the game. FFS there's even people here agreeing with me.
Only few probs ive had have been a few CTD's and a permanent arrow stuck in my back. (Arrow bug fixed by writing player.sexchange twice in console. And a few quest bugs.

Otherwise, improved graphics, improved animations, good gameplay. Great story. Amazing world. Amazing voice acting and hilarious nord accents.

Ive also heard that people on consoles have had major problems and those few simpleton asshats who use ATI cards have had plenty of problems. Suits them right for buying shitty graphics cards ;)
Thank goodness I have nvidia. The problems I have aren't graphical in nature, it's the game that's rotten.

It's weird, you are having the same thing I had with Fallout 3 and New Vegas. While the entire internet was complaining about an insane amount of bugs, I didn't have any problems at all with those games. Doesn't mean the problems aren't real, though. That just means you're lucky.

nope this argument is about whether you were right or wrong about what you said about skyrim being do much like oblivion, you said people agreed with you but I didn't see anyone agreeing with you so I wanted prove, I didn't say no one agrees I merely said that a large majority (easily in 90% area) disagree, and I am right about that. If a large majority disagree such as that disagree with your points obviously the problem you have with the game aren't there/as big as issues as you made them out to be and you are just an unlucky one who for some reason has gotten a crappy version of the game.
