well I'm glad I took a break from Skyrim in the last week or so, was gonna go back to it tonight, now I know not to update, though to be honest, I've never had that much trouble with glitches, there's been a bit of lag here and there and my manniquins disappear when I try to display my awesome hand-crafted dragon-armour on them, and just once I killed a dragon and for some reason didn't absorb it's soul, but other than that it's been fine, so I'll continue to enjoy Skyrim HAHA!!

Can anyone confirm if this happens on PC as well? I'm getting some Steam funds from my parents for Christmas, and Skyrim is one of the games I'm buying. If this is a problem on PC, I want it fixed by Christmas. You hear me, Bethesda!? I want it fixed!

no, its an optical illusion!
there's lots of dragons and the light's flashing irregularly, so they SEEM to go backwards.
[sub]sorry, i just did that in physics today...[/sub]

well, i've not encountered any reverse dragons...

I had no trouble with the release version, other than having that soul crushing lag every now and again, but it only ever really happened while I was in either Solitude or Whiterun. My problems began when I got the patch. Kicked my Nord in the balls because he's no longer frost resistant, or a Dovahkiin since he can't absorb dragon souls. I don't even wanna go out on my Mage yet because fighting dragons yields no reward, and she finds dragons all over the place.

Does anyone know how to uninstall the patch, without actually removing it from the system? The only thing that has kept me from outright deleting the patch is the fact that it's 92MB, and on an internet as slow as mine, that's a very, VERY big number. And that I read another patch was on its way sometime soon. I'm on PS3, if anyone could help me out with this. I've tried what I can think of, and I dunno if I'm missing something or not.

Well I'm setting Steam to offline mode till this is fixed. I haven't had a single crash since I got the 4gb mod.

Step 3. - Find a way to give mods to console users... or maybe just let them suffer for sake of fairness
Can I ask how its fair? I don't own the PC version because its too expensive for me to upgrade my 8 year old PC (aka, buy a whole new computer because its never had an upgrade in its life and its cheaper to buy a whole new machine)

I own the PS3 version, I only had very minor lag and everything seems ok after I updated (I don't use the resist stuff, so I'm not sure if that's broken for me) other than that 1 freeze but I didn't lose much (oh and the game not responding to my control inputs that one time...surprised my horse didn't die after I couldn't steer it away from going right down a waterfall XD )

The only way to remove it is to delete the patch, as far as I know

Anyone on the Xbox360 can confirm these bugs?

So far my pre-patch game was perfectly fine, no bugs at all.

so I rather not download it until I get some confirmation the bugs are really that bad.
I've been playing for 3 hours or so today after this second patch, no bugs or glitches. I have not seen a dragon tho. I have the game installed on my 360.

Update Edit: Odahviing flies fine, still haven't seen a random Dragon tho, will hunt one now...

Edit 2: Killed a blood dragon guarding a shout word. Flew normal, while I let him ; )

Going to do the Mara quests and see if I can marry without incident next...

No game breaking bugs at all. In all my 100+ hours of play (I'm on vacation, don't judge me!) the game froze twice, that's it. Thank you Bethesda!
Well, seeing as I had about the same flawless track record before the patch, I might as well update it.

well colour me completely unsurprised, and this is exactly why I have not bought Skyrim... yet. I don't want to sound like a complete smug bastard here but we've seen enough Bethesda sandbox games to know with 99% certainty that skyrim was going to have major bugs in the first several months.

I will buy it in a year's time, when its patched, modded, reduced price and with DLC bundled in a steam sale... and I shall enjoy the hell out of it whilst laughing heartily at all you poor sap beta testers went though all the janky shit so that I could play the game without too many problems.

It looks like Todd Howard wasn't kidding when they said they didn't fix funny bugs. This and the giants launching you into space are just hilarious!

This is what annoys me the most as the same thing happened with Fallout new vegas.I have a near perfect game with a few non game breaking bugs that i hardly ever see.A bunch of entitled idoits start complaining their are bugs in the game.

So more people seem to actively seak them out for some reason the company then make a patch to fix the bugs that then causes major problems in game.I go from having a game that ran okay to a pile of major bugs everywhere i look.

If the bugs are not breaking game play stop whining and deal with it.

So far since the patch came out i have had dragons get stuck on top of mountains or just fly into things then just get stuck flying against things.Dragons looking like there having seizures in mid air.My character randomly smoking way like he is on fire and the game nearly grinding to a hault randomly so damn frustrating

Dang it Bethesda. All I want to do is complete a glitched College of Winterhold quest so I can have a dark elf follower for a wife. Why are you making it so hard for me to do so? :(
In the event you're playing on PC and would like to fix it yourself, just bring up the console prompt (With the ` or ~ key, below escape/left of 1) and type
Code:
setstage MGRAppBrelyna01 30
and you should get a journal update saying the spell wore off and to speak to Brelyna again.
That would be great if I was playing the PC version. But I'm playing the 360 version.

Thanks anyway though.

Is literally everybody getting these massive game-breaking problems?
Am I just lucky that in 55 hours of game time, I've only run into a handful of visual glitches, and a couple of broken misc objectives?
