same, only I'm 18

I don't see what the big deal is over having to lose you're virginity so fast. I'm perfectly happy being a virgin until I've found the person I want to spend my life with and I know feels the same for me.

As for the guys/women that sleep with anything that moves; eventually they're gonna end up getting one pregnant/getting pregnant and screwing up each others lives. Plus when they do meet the person they want to be with then there will be nothing special, its just what he does.

EDIT: people having kids in 8th grade??!? I live in hillbilly-ville and that never even happens around here

Uh, anyone can do what they want? Why would anyone try to restrict other people about what they do for fun unless it's hurting themselves(and even that's ambiguous) or someone else?

I guess open relationships are ok if both partners are ok with it. Otherwise it's cheating.

Exactly how I feel.

I don't really care about being a virgin. At times I think "Well goddamn it, everyone else is having sex except me, aren't they?" but I get over when I remember I'm waiting for that special someone.

And I feel the same towards the latter subject as well. Once they find someone they actually care for, they'll be so desensitized to sex that it won't mean anything.

I believe that casual sex is okay... for a time. I'm not against it by any means, but I have friends who can vouch for it being pretty empty after a few years of it.
I have somebody who I'm interested in who I feel very strongly for, so... I dunno, if it happens anytime soon, which I doubt due to boundaries and shirking from intimacy on both sides, it'll probably be with that person.

Eh, who you do is up to you. (alliteration is fun)
that's not alliteration, that's a rhyme.
That is what alliteration is. You are thinking of alution when you reference a famous literary work.
No, alliteration is a series of words that all begin with the same letter.
[Edit] An example would be: The big bad barbarian battled bloody baboons.

Well there's having casual sex and then there's being a whore.

I have no problem with casual sex when you're not in a relationship, and even if you are if both partners are fine with a little sex outside the relationship then I still see no problem with it. Obviously if one of the partners wants it to be more closed then that the other one should follow suit, I have no respect for people who cheat on their partner like that.

Although for me casual one night stands wouldn't really mean much. It's just for that one moment of passion, then its over. Plus sex isn't the only thing that makes a relationship, so why should it be so exclusive?

Of course all this is still theoretical for me, having never actually done it with anyone...

She lost her virginity at seventeen? Damn, that's late. My friend's son was born when we were in eighth grade.
I know plenty of people who had to leave school in the 8th grade because they got pregnant.

It may be a little late, but it's still under legal age here.
damn, whenever something like that happens over here they get on the news...
There were two people in my high school who got into one of those situations. They both dropped out the year the baby was born, he got a teenage job full-time (as far as I know) and she was a full time mom. She never came back, but he returned to school a year later, and tried to finish getting his diploma.

I love idiots. They provide so much amusement for the rest of us.
That's what my dad did...
And now I feel like a jackass. Thank you.

Wait...

OT: I'm more or less have the same view as you OP. Save sex for someone you actually care about. Its much, much better that way. Granted its still great regardless, but still, its better with people you actually like.

Casual sex is fine, relationship sex is better. Any sex is good though. However, about the person you mentioned... Sluuuuuut.

I don't believe in love, it's a silly made up concept to give our otherwise meaningless lives meaning.

Or at least that's how i see it

Can't really say much about this. I'm 18, atheist, had sex once but it was a stupid idea. Don't see the need people have to sleep with everyone. My last girlfriend and I were together 6 months and didn't have sex. I did want to, and we both loved each other, but it just didn't happen. And we functioned fine without it.

Besides, sex (as with anything humans do) has no meaning except the continuation of the species, nothing more.
lol I think a more adequite summary is; A son in 8th grade? damn that's early.

OT: Don't worry about it too much. Myself I'm much more romantic about sex, so my girlfriend and I like to keep thing between us.
I love to watch shows like Ladette to Lady, because it's so funny to just have a show revolving around people with fucked up lives volunteering to go on the show to change their lives and then fucking it up once again. But hey, maybe I'm just cruel. XD

Virgin and Asexual, here.

Your feminine wiles have nothing on me, ladies. Only money talks for me.

I'm against sleeping around, I only ever sleep with someone I'm in a relationship with.

So I've only had a few partners, my current partner is the most inexperienced I've been with, but in the end sex isn't what defines a relationship to me. So that doesn't matter so much.

24, not a virgin, recently (in the past couple years) christian, previously wiccan. I dislike the idea of casual sex, but neither will I move to stop someone who enjoys it.

As far as I can tell, I'm asexual.

So, I couldn't care less about it, except when a video game decides to throw a pair of boobs or whatever in my face. Then I just sigh and chalk it up to a lack of originality in design. Is that really the only thing you could come up with to make people wanna play?

I get the feeling this topic may not be long lived here...

I'll just say I've got a checkered history, not a lot of luck in love, but in lust apparently I'm luckier than I wish I were.

They are deprived of any real emotional connection with their partners.

I find that quite sad.

As for me, I'll be honest, I'm a horn dog, but if I could actually score frequently, I would limit myself to maybe 1 or 2 girls a month.

Or maybe I'll mature in the future and just have lots of relationships and have sex in those instead.

My first time was when I was 16, about a year after our relationship started. I think that maybe I could have waited until I was older, I'm still with the same guy 3 years later and we still love each other to bits. Been offered to have a friends-with-benefits relationships but I turned them down.

However, there is one thing I could never leave out of our relationship: Porn. To this day my boyfriend and I are still finding new things to try on each other. I can't stand shows like Dr. Phil that demonize pornography as if it takes away from a relationship.
