Well, the only way I could see a guy not being at least a little moved by that song is him having have a completely uncomplicated relationship with their father and/or son. Either a perfect loving one, or an unmitigatedly awful/nonexistent one. Anything in-between, and I would think it would elicit something. I hope you fall into the first category.DuplicateValue said:Ugh, our English teacher made us study that in school, along with one of Dido's songs.PhiMed said:Cat's in the Cradle, anyone? No one? I wasn't moved so much as put to sleep.![]()
HA HA Totally. Let's go do manly things like change the oil in our cars and lift heavy things and build a meth lab in my basement and wash each others backs in the shower. . .at the gym. GO TEAM. Whoo, saved it.wc alligator said:If you're crying to a song you're probably not a guy. Haha LOLMIRITE?
Try listening to the entirety of The Antlers - Hospice and say that again.linwolf said:Non, crying over a song is just strange.
Real men don't cry, ever.
have you also considered the context that the other songs are used in.wc alligator said:Well that's pretty sad but only because of the context it is used in.Marowit said:Probably Blue, the song that plays at the end of Cowboy Bebop series.
So real men to not show emotions?linwolf said:Non, crying over a song is just strange.

Of course men can show emotions. It's just crying that I dislike, for me crying is just a thing people do to get sympathy. If you don't like something change it. And crying over a song doesn't make sense to me, a song can make me feel down but that only make me want to make things better. Crying over a song is like saying life sucks and I'm gonna go sit in a corner.Fallen-Angel Risen-Demon said:So real men to not show emotions?linwolf said:Non, crying over a song is just strange.

How... cowedly.
OT: It's because it was used as a funeral song for someone close to me.
If you feel sad enough to cry, then you should. I cry when I remember the event associated with the song, the song itself does not make me cry. I'm sure you cry when one of your loved ones dies.linwolf said:Of course men can show emotions. It's just crying that I dislike, for me crying is just a thing people do to get sympathy. I don't cry, not when my dog died, or when my granddad died, not even when one of my friends died.Fallen-Angel Risen-Demon said:If you feel sad enough to cry, then you should.
