I never really got the hype around Sonic anyway. The only Sonic game I own is Sonic Advance 2 (unless you count SSBB, which you really shouldn't) and I didn't really like it. I guess I'm just more of a Mario man.

I mean come on, pretty much everyone in this thread has said it, but we've seen about 3 seconds of footage and a few screencaps, and as far as I've seen we've got old-school Sonic with modern graphics. Some people need to grow up.

Aren't they boycotting Sonic, though? I didn't read anywhere in their statement that they are trying to hurt Sega, what it says is they are trying to show Sega what they want. I don't see a problem with that, even if they want to jump the gun. It's the way things work, and hopefully people will start voting with their wallets more.

I actually wanna know this too. Where are there over 1000 copies of Sonic 1 being sold? eBay only has 4 Genesis copies that I can see.

I know they're not buying it on XBL, PSN, WVC because if they are Sonic purists as they claim to be, they'd already have it.
