Well, they're bastards, but they said it to our faces. Right. Sonic Team must burn! I remember the good old days with SA and SA2:B on the GC. Good times, good times.

I had to look up those acronyms, lol, I feel so lame. I actually missed the Dream Cast (wich is too bad, I wanted ?Typing of the Dead?) so consequently missed those Sonic games. How were they, any good? I was skeptical of the games with the whole teams thing (Team Sonic and Team Dark and stuff). Did they have Dr. Robotnik by chance?

I actually haven't played Sonic Adventure much, but I loved SA2. It was basically play as good or play as evil. Robotnik was on the evil side, but his and Rouge's stages kind of sucked. I actually liked Tails' and Robotnik's stages, but Sonic's and Shadow's were the best. If you want the last example of good Sonic 3D platforming, look to those stages. Fun as hell. I'm getting ahead of myself.

In case you don't know, Rouge and Knuckles had treasure-hunting stages. Kind of annoying, but could be fun. Tails and Robotnik had "lock-on to and shoot all enemies stages." Sonic and Shadow had the classic stages.
Anyway, I loved it. Best part? It didn't have Big the Cat.

I've seen some incredible crap, but it really takes balls to NOT ADMIT that almost everyone who played your game disliked that part of it.

Thanks Sonic Team. Now I can continue to not buy your games, because you continue to exploit the poor hog to the extreme.

Next up: Shadow 2, with more guns and silly plotline! We know, we thought it was impossible too!

This has been said already, but not in so many words. But here's what you can do with the werehog:

1. Retcon it out of existence in the next game.
2. Curse Sonic of it instantly in the next game.
3. Shove it up your stupid, fat arses, Sega!

@ Above, nope didn't, played a demo in the shop, made my judgement from that 20 minutes. Sega has freakin lost the plot as far as Sonic, and they're right in a way, theres no going back. EA did the impossible. Sega have to rearrange the Cosmos.

Sega now seem to work on balance. Year in year out they give us wonderful things that seem to have very minimal crap - Condemned, Valkyria Chronicles, House of the Dead Overkill, Lost on the Island of Spice, the Yakuza series, Madworld, The Conduit, Stormrise, Bayonetta (for what its trying to do it looks awesome - like that machine gun stripper in Planet Terror, both incredibly retarded and amazingly awesome). All of this filtered out crap needs to go somewehre, so it must all go into the Sonic games. If Sega stopped making crap Sonic games, they couldn't do such incredibly awesome other games.

Just wanted to add the PS2 Shinobi game to that list, along with Skies of Arcadia. Oh, and Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more it seems like Sega sucks the most when they stick with the franchises that made them famous (like Sonic). Wait... But then there's that Shinobi game, which was awesome... Eh, I guess it's just Sonic. Sort of like Nintendo and the Mario sports games that aren't Tennis.
