oh you KNOW your all going to buy the next game JUST to ***** about it. You allways do, and if you didn't you wouldn't have a right to *****.

Face it your either buying there games, giving them money and complaining.
Or your not, complaining, and just looking like a moron.

Or your renting or playing at a friends house, you get the idea.
It took you this long to find out? ;P

We're more bitching about how SEGA (Or Sonic Team if you want to get specific) aren't listening to anyone and continuing with something that nobody liked (generalization, of course). They're not paying attention to anyone, not the critics, fans, internet, consumers, or god! You'd think after so many low scores they'd notice that Sonic is dead, no?

Does anyone get this weird feeling like developers don't have internet access??
Sometimes, yeah, I do. At least the Console part of Sonic Team doesn't. The Handheld part does, which is why the handheld games haven't started to fully suck yet.
That's because they can't mess up a handheld sonic game.

...can they?
Ask Dimps studio's on how they kept sonic team away from there work on the DS.
Actually, Sonic and the Black Knights come to mind, though that was made by Bioware of all people to work on a Sonic game. Though I think that game was average at best and piece of crap at worst.

EDIT: So I guess we're all in agreement? We all hate the Sonic Team right now.

That is beyond terrible...

At any rate, you want Sega to stop making these games? STOP BUYING THEM.

We just need a way to flip the world upside down. The world is a flat surface, isn't it? ISN'T IT? I dare you to challenge my logic that the world is flat!
The earth is a quadrilateral pyramid. Europe, the Americas, and Africa form the three faces. Asia forms the quadrilateral. No offense Asia, it's just science.

Is it me, or does anybody else find it hilarious that the best recent incarnation of Sonic was done by NINTENDO? Load up Brawl, go to Subspace Emissary, pick Sonic, and tell me that that isn't better than Unleashed and Secret Rings combined.

(And yes I know that HAL is the actual company behind Brawl, but Brawl is published by Nintendo, and HAL is a Nintendo second party)

My totally disdain for Sonic Team cannot be described. They've taken the game series that I started with and turned him into this. Seriously what will it take for them to get this through their incredibly thick skulls. Sonic Team you have not come up with a single decent idea in all this time. Then you say you don't care about the people who originally gave you the money to make Sonic 2 and the rest. They may be the most unintelligent people on this planet how can they not understand that these games are bad. It's amazing how much damage can be done in 10 years. Sonic you were my first video game friend but...I can no longer speak to you. ....end rant

There's a thin line between terrible and awesome.

*monumental facepalm*

Well I suppose it was the only positive people seemed to get from the last one, but that's ripped off GoW. Well some people will never learn. Sonic will keep going until the team goes bust.

I find it hillarious how he says he sees the younger kids as their core audience, when the last 3D Sonic game I played, Sonic Heros, had such debilidating bugs that I'm still not sure how I managed to get past some of those zones. I can't for the life of me see how a younger player would have the patience to overcome things like that, hell I don't know how I had the patience required...

The recurring theme seems to be selling a game on the name, and then making every excuse possible to make you play something that is neither what you came for (Sonic), nor the one unique thing the series has (Sonic's speed). As far back as Sonic Adventure 2 I remember thinking "how much more of this have I gotta play before I get another Sonic/Shadow level??" when playing the (alhough technically well built) Tails/Robotnik and Knuckles/Rouge levels.

This is like Uwe Boll - "how is he still getting the money to do all this?!"

Just switch El Director De Magnifico with SEGA

As I've said b4, ppl who complain about the werehog being slow or having to many levels have no right to praise SA2.

And if you played Sonic Unleashed, in the story this creature called Dark Gaia was awakened by Eggman. And Dark Gai is really the main reason why Sonic turns all big and hairy at night (that kinda didn't sound right). ANd at the end of the game Dark GAia went back to its eternal sleep and the Sonic's dark powers went with it.

So I'm pretty sure that they're not going to brig back the werehog and go against the story that much.>_>

They just don't frakking know when to stop, do they? Why, Sega? Why won't you understand that Sonic as a franchise is *dead*?

Well, at least we know that Sega are still going with their known tradition of follow every single thing that Nintendo does. First Nintendo abandons its Hardcore base for casuals and younger gamers, now Sega does. Well, actually sega did it long ago and i stopped caring after the first 2 bad games. What really irritates me, though, is that sega just keeps trying 'new things' and innovate. Yes, that should be complimented, like with games like mirrors edge being stand outs. (though i personally didn't like it) but ideas that are even criticized upon announcement and not launch should not be developed. Like sonic kart racing? If they seriously make that game, i think we know that Sonic Team should be 'fired' (decipher how yourself)
