Sony giveth (PS2 classics) and Sony taketh away (online paywall)
God Hand I can find on ebay for around £20, and it is that prce because there is a relatively low demand. if everyone who would be interested in the liked og God hand actually sought to buy a copy you can see the price exploding like Twilight Princess for Gamecube that now costs £42 AT LEAST! I've seen mint condition copies go for £150, a standard edition game from 2006 going for £150!!!
I have my copy, damn glad I bought it when I did as the price has appreciated by about 20% every year since and frankly, even for £60 I ain't selling it. No way, Jose.
And this is in the crazy world where the Wii version costs only about £14.
On a more relevant level, I have a lot of positive to say about the PSOne classics on PSN, they have consistently been cheaper than buying them off ebay/similar (once factoring in delivery costs) and have the added benefit that I can play them on PSP. So Tomb Raider II on my daily commute... WHOPEEE!!!
on the other hand, how much do those cult-classics actually cost to buy the original release hard-copy?Lvl 64 Klutz said:I may be weeping tears of joy, but my wallet is weeping tears of dread.
