Sony Exec: Bungie Deal Gives PS3 Fans "Halo on Steroids"

Well, that's good news. Now Playstation fans cannot ***** as much by spoon-feeding some good ol' Bungie lovin' that Xbox owners have been enjoying for themselves for almost a decade.

Problem 1: No one knows what sort of game Bungie is doing next. It could be My Little Pony for all we know.
Problem 2: Even if the game being made is essentially The New Halo, it being a multiple platform title with a PS3 version does not mean anything. It could be lowest common denominator'd, rendering the superior power of the PS3 all but useless. Or it could end up like Bayonetta where the PS3 version clearly was the lesser of the two.. and considering Bungie's experience since Halo 1 has been working with Xbox/360 hardware I wouldn't say that's too unlikely a possibility.
Personally.. my money's on the My Little Pony game.

I'm kinda wondering if PS3 fans really want Bungie with them. I warn you, however, their games will be addictive, but you will hate yourself. Little Big Planet? Just as addictive. No excitement factor in waiting 3 years for an un-announced project which is coupled with Activision publishing. I wouldn't buy it anyway, since it's Activision (Diablo 3 Noooooo!).

Now the PS3 lineup is finally good, so Sony Fanboys are reacting to the crap they started to get from 360 fanboys 3 years ago. There is still no technical difference between the two consoles. It's just a matter of who's exclusives you want. I wanted my Bioware, so I went 360 first.
Really the whole arguement is stupid. We 360 owners just got access to Final Fantasy, and good lord was the Fanboy rage about that freaking retarded. We're going to have access to the next Metal Gear game. We really have little to complain about with Bungie trying to go multiplatform.
No, I'm not excited Escapist, because Halo has just been the same game made 3 times and an expansion pack.
