Sony Exec: Bungie Deal Gives PS3 Fans "Halo on Steroids"

I do agree with you. Maybe I don't go to enough gaming sites to see it but I rarely come across 360 fanboys. I still see tons of sony ones though for some reason. I wish everyone could get a long and accept that some people like a different consoles better. I've never really got it, I own a DS, a Ps2, psp and a 360. I'm also saving for a Wii and Ps3. Maybe I just care to much that these fanboys are acting like complete ass holes towards each other. I find it disgusting.Jhereg42 said:

Without exclusives, what difference does it make what platform you get? Yes, it would be awesome to have to same games on each platform, but then, if they are all the same, there's no reason to get one over the other. There's no real advantage.Trivun said:

Though since it's Activision, any PC game that they make will cost $60, contain DRM up the ass, be used to sell overpriced DLC, and use some sort of "Bungie.net" instead of dedis'. Damn you, Activision!

I'll keep my "OMG, SWEETNESS!" as soon as I see something other than Halo come out of them. As much as I want to be excited for this, I really want to see what things Bungie will pop out with Activision hovering over them, though the thought of Bungie working on the PS3 does make me giggle ;P
Can't say I'm not surprised though, this partnership should be very interesting.

Sony had better bite down on this; their spectacularly bland-samey lineup as their primary competitor has shown us that the PS3 is capable of...what their competition can do. Only slightly buggier on average.
I don't hate the PS3, but a console must live or die on its game selection, not its hardware.

I've got to admit, I thought that was the case too. I was really looking forward to seeing people who said halo was the shittest thing on earth suddenly change their minds, would have given me a chuckle.
