I do agree with you. Maybe I don't go to enough gaming sites to see it but I rarely come across 360 fanboys. I still see tons of sony ones though for some reason. I wish everyone could get a long and accept that some people like a different consoles better. I've never really got it, I own a DS, a Ps2, psp and a 360. I'm also saving for a Wii and Ps3. Maybe I just care to much that these fanboys are acting like complete ass holes towards each other. I find it disgusting.Jhereg42 said:Hate to say it man, but the X-Box fan boys are just as bad IMHO. (Full disclosure, I own a 360, saving up for a PS3 around my B-day).Stormz said:"giving PS3 fans Halo on steroids."
I can already hear the PS3 fanboy gloating about how awesome and better the ps3 is and that now 360 owners don't even have exclusives anymore or some such trash.
Though this is generally good news (Except for the activision part) I can sense the fanboy wars. I Loathe sony fanboys. Worse type I have ever seen...EVER.
Most were bad mouthing the PS3 three years ago when their lineup was crap (and it was). All the while, the PS3 Fanbots were crowing about their superior console (it's not, from the mouths of the guys that made the chips).
Now the PS3 lineup is finally good, so Sony Fanboys are reacting to the crap they started to get from 360 fanboys 3 years ago. There is still no technical difference between the two consoles. It's just a matter of who's exclusives you want. I wanted my Bioware, so I went 360 first.
Really the whole arguement is stupid. We 360 owners just got access to Final Fantasy, and good lord was the Fanboy rage about that freaking retarded. We're going to have access to the next Metal Gear game. We really have little to complain about with Bungie trying to go multiplatform.
Without exclusives, what difference does it make what platform you get? Yes, it would be awesome to have to same games on each platform, but then, if they are all the same, there's no reason to get one over the other. There's no real advantage.Trivun said:As long as the company still produces for Xbox 360 as well, I'm happy. I've always said exclusive gaming is a curse and shouldn't be allowed...
Unfortunately for the Halo liking PS3 gamers, no. The Halo IP still belongs to Microsoft. So the PS3 will have to wait for this new IP to get a Bungie game.Jory said:Would this allow them to release the previous Halo games on PS3?
Just out of interest.
I've got to admit, I thought that was the case too. I was really looking forward to seeing people who said halo was the shittest thing on earth suddenly change their minds, would have given me a chuckle. I still wonder what this means for microsoft though as they seem to be running low on exclusives of late, well triple A exclusives I mean.felixader said:By the way, just sayin for all the "oh i can now play halo too" sayers.
HALO IS MICROSOFT PROPERTY!
I am not a big Halo Fan but i just had the urge to say that seeing how every second person here seemes to think that Halo will now be avaiable for every platform. ^.^
