But we already knew ME3 is coming. Hell, that's the only reason I finished another playthrough on ME2. Why would that be the big secret? It's not very surprising.

It has to be a new game, maybe same universe, but a new game.

As for the question posed by Bioware, I believe those three things have the number 6 in common. Not that I've run down all three of the things down as perfectly, but MI6 at least is certain and I'd say 26 being the number on Iron's periodic table of elements position ties into it, plus the coldest temperature recorded was something like 86 degrees celsius below zero so... *shrug*

So no, I'm pretty sure it's not ME3...unless they somehow plan to work the number 6 into it, like "42" was the answer to everything from Hitchiker's in which case...I will be dissapoint. ;)
26 is the proton number not Relative atomic mass.

I call bullshit. Why would Bioware tease a game everyone ever already knows about?

I still think that it's Alpha Protocol 2.
That was Obsidian behind Alpha Protocol. Though it would be an interesting twist for Bioware to make an Obsidian sequal for once rather than the other way around...

Yeah, thanks. I'm aware of who developed Alpha Protocol.

I'm thinking that Bioware bought the rights to it.

Even from the picture though, it doesn't look very Mass Effect like. That gun and suit just don't look futuristic enough.

Maybe in the same universe, but not in the same timeline.

Well, pulling this out of my arse, but MI6 is awfully close to M16. M forward 1 is N, 1+6 is 7, N7.

Or, we can take the position of M as a number, then subtract 16 from it, to get -3.

If 6 exists as a theme that connects all of the numbers, six is three letters. 3.

And, -86 is (minus the '-') nine letters long. You then subtract the common theme, and get 3, again.

-3 and 3 is canceled out, leaving just one 3, a positive one at that.
as retarded your theory is, your probably right, if ME3 is announced, Bioware will most likely use something along those lines to connect the dots

I somehow doubt the clip linked above is for ME3, the style is completely different.
Even if ME3 is going darker than 2 (which was already a good bit more grim than ME), it seems highly unlikely to do such a massive change in design for a sequel to a pair of games where players liked that art style (I most certainly did).

It could very well be another Bioware Action-RPG similar to Mass Effect, but I doubt it is going to be ME3, at least, not with where that clip is concerned. They might well also reveal ME3, but that's not part of it I believe.
Well he is using an incisor rifle from mass effect, that fact got nailed down pretty early after the video was released

So the art is from mass effect, wouldn't xcall it completly different, rather the exact same thing with a different colour/lighting

Again he uses a mass effect weapon^^
Though i like the timeline idea. But the weapon you get was specifically crafted for you by cerberus.

In all seriousness though, I doubt someone will ever see there family again someone will ever see the inside of Sony Russia again. But its bound to happen, I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.
I refuse to bow to you, as you spelled "Soviet" wrong.

OT: If it's Mass Effect 3, then I really need to play Mass Effect 2 when it' released on the PS3.
"Sony" + "Soviet" = "Soniet", I think he was trying to get at. Truth be told, it didn't quite work for me either.

OT: I'm still hoping for a new franchise. Not that I think it'll be in any way interesting to me, but I like to see companies broadening their horizons rather than just expelling sequels to already established brands.

On top of him using the Incisor Rifle the armour looks like something from Mass Effect to me. I think it's just the subtle, grey honeycomb pattern though, because I could swear that the same pattern is on the non-metallic parts of N7 armour.

I'm not sure the reveal of Mass Effect 3 counts as a secret given that Bioware have always been upfront about wanting to finish the trilogy within this generation of consoles. If they were really going to call a reveal a secret it just doesn't make sense for it to be ME3 to my mind, unless the marketing team at Bioware are criminally unimaginative.

So I'm going to hold off judgement for a while. I might not be smart enough to figure out what the clues point to, but I don't think Bioware would be quite that obvious.
