This time on Mass Effect, your player character discover the Covenant and gets himself a Mjolnir Armor. With some lightsaber upgrade he will travel into a Tournament planet for some cash and then...
Wait a second.... all the reapers were about to arrive from the void at the end of Mass Effect 2, so is it plausible that the reapers have arrived and the picture above is a beaten and scarred Commander Shepherd who is defending Earth?GiantRedButton said:Well he is using an incisor rifle from mass effect, that fact got nailed down pretty early after the video was releasedAzhrarn-101 said:I somehow doubt the clip linked above is for ME3, the style is completely different.
Even if ME3 is going darker than 2 (which was already a good bit more grim than ME), it seems highly unlikely to do such a massive change in design for a sequel to a pair of games where players liked that art style (I most certainly did).
It could very well be another Bioware Action-RPG similar to Mass Effect, but I doubt it is going to be ME3, at least, not with where that clip is concerned. They might well also reveal ME3, but that's not part of it I believe.

So the art is from mass effect, wouldn't xcall it completly different, rather the exact same thing with a different colour/lighting
Again he uses a mass effect weapon^^Jonny49 said:Even from the picture though, it doesn't look very Mass Effect like. That gun and suit just don't look futuristic enough.
Maybe in the same universe, but not in the same timeline.
Though i like the timeline idea. But the weapon you get was specifically crafted for you by cerberus.
That was yet another layer of the joke.Reyalsfeihc said:Only problem with your theory on the sixes is it asked for the atomic mass of iron, not the atomic number which is 55.8Loonerinoes said:As for the question posed by Bioware, I believe those three things have the number 6 in common. Not that I've run down all three of the things down as perfectly, but MI6 at least is certain and I'd say 26 being the number on Iron's periodic table of elements position ties into it, plus the coldest temperature recorded was something like 86 degrees celsius below zero so... *shrug*
So no, I'm pretty sure it's not ME3...unless they somehow plan to work the number 6 into it, like "42" was the answer to everything from Hitchiker's in which case...I will be dissapoint.
That was yet another layer of the Joke. Soviet, Sony, Soniet... Yeah, I'm just that coolGrayjack said:I refuse to bow to you, as you spelled "Soviet" wrong.NeedAUserName said:In Soniet Russia reveal is you!
[sup] See what I did there, see?! I'm a comic genius, bow before my might![/sup]
In all seriousness though, I doubtsomeone will ever see there family againsomeone will ever see the inside of Sony Russia again. But its bound to happen, I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.
That..would..be..awesome...Shockolate said:Is it just me, or did that dude look like a halo marine with a battle rifle?
Bioware Halo game? Very unlikely, but that's what I saw.
Eh. Why would you doubt they have access to twitter? We do have the internet in Russia.ForgottenPr0digy said:Wait Sony has a Russian gaming division and they have access to a twitter account??? Well it must be true because everything you read on twitter is correct and Russians are usually telling the truth when it comes secret projects
That was the point >.<Grayjack said:I refuse to bow to you, as you spelled "Soviet" wrong.NeedAUserName said:In Soniet Russia reveal is you!

OT: If it's Mass Effect 3, then I really need to play Mass Effect 2 when it' released on the PS3.
Well I'll admit, that is an incisor indeed, or extremely close to one. ^^GiantRedButton said:Well he is using an incisor rifle from mass effect, that fact got nailed down pretty early after the video was released

That's not Shepard. They use the default male Shepard for advertising (i.e. the one modelled on that guy who's name I've forgotten), so that guy is - if it's ME3 and he's in it - either there to throw people off or he's a potential companion/NPC.Reyalsfeihc said:Wait a second.... all the reapers were about to arrive from the void at the end of Mass Effect 2, so is it plausible that the reapers have arrived and the picture above is a beaten and scarred Commander Shepherd who is defending Earth?
Let's see... A similar honeycomb pattern can be seen on Miranda's clothing (And it's seen on some other companions, I believe), and that rifle is the Incisor rifle from Mass Effect 2. Not sure why you think it "looks nothing like the Mass Effect series", because that rifle is clearly from Mass Effect 2.NAHTZEE said:that would be a stupid reveal, since we all know ME3 is in the making. plus, armor and weopanry in the mass effect series look nothing like this. this looks like a totally different game. if bioware said this is a teaser for ME3 they'd became complete idiots, since when ME2 was released they said ME3 is in the making.
