Sony Russia Claims BioWare Reveal Is Mass Effect 3

I somehow doubt the clip linked above is for ME3, the style is completely different.
Even if ME3 is going darker than 2 (which was already a good bit more grim than ME), it seems highly unlikely to do such a massive change in design for a sequel to a pair of games where players liked that art style (I most certainly did).

It could very well be another Bioware Action-RPG similar to Mass Effect, but I doubt it is going to be ME3, at least, not with where that clip is concerned. They might well also reveal ME3, but that's not part of it I believe.

Well he is using an incisor rifle from mass effect, that fact got nailed down pretty early after the video was released

So the art is from mass effect, wouldn't xcall it completly different, rather the exact same thing with a different colour/lighting

Even from the picture though, it doesn't look very Mass Effect like. That gun and suit just don't look futuristic enough.

Though i like the timeline idea. But the weapon you get was specifically crafted for you by cerberus.

Hm, it looks a bit like the Incisor, but whats to say they havnt just used the look of the rifle for the teaser? Just because a gun that has a few similarities with a gun from ME2 is used, dont mean it's gona be ME3. They coulda just got lazy.

Back to the rifle thing though; it could be an earlier version of the Incisor, which might imply the game is a ME prequel, perhaps set in the First Contact War.

Which would of course, be fucking awesome.
