Id rather they pay me back if my financial info was stolen. But free games is a start.

I know Sony had lax security at best, but I can't help but to feel sorry for them. Lost a LOT of business, ruined many a game-launch. (Brink.)

Me? I'm staying with Sony. This won't stop be from playing War for Cybertron.

Not to mention, while it was very imprudent and ill-advised of Sony to have such poor security, if the people that planned this out weren't such scumbags as to steal people's financial information, this wouldn't have been an issue.

Sadly, a quote from their blog reveals the following:

Access to the 30 days free PS Plus subscription is only available for those countries where PS Plus is offered. You will have access to the PS Plus content planned for May for 30 days. Access to the free games and exclusive features finishes at the end of the 30-day subscription period. Anything you buy with exclusive discounts, dynamic themes and premium avatars are yours to keep forever.
Sounds like they're not giving the games to us at all, they're giving us 30 days free play. Much less enthusiastic now.
well let us all hope that you are wrong. i sure am :p
I really really hope I am, but with a condition that ambiguous I smell a dick-move ahoy.

Doesn't Infamous 2 come out soon? Smart move there, great way to draw attention to the series for those who haven't played it yet and boost sales for the sequel.

Sweet deal anyways, always wanting to give Wipeout a go.

Does anyone know how much infamous and Little Big Planet trade in for at a place like EB Games?(I think EB Games is called gamestop in the US)

I might just turn this apology package into cash
You can only get it from PSN, so it's impossible to trade it in.

I already own those games, I meant selling my copies and getting free digital replacements

Shame. The only ones I'd want I already own. Guess I'll go with Booty and Dead Nation and let them rot on the Hard Drive.

Woulda preferred $20/£15 voucher for the PSN store myself.

Wow. That is.. extremely good timing. After my exams have finished I'm getting a PS3, and the two games that have made me want to get one are going out for free.
Fuck yeah.
(Just hoping the offer'll still be on when I get my PS3..)
That is, if new customers are eligible for the deal.

This is quite cool, shame I don't own a PS3, would snap up Little big planet and INfamous.

My internet connection will never handle downloading full games. It can barely handle multiplayer and can't download demos. Will they give us hard copies?
Try going to a friends house with a better connection.

Hmm. By memory, some games (generally PS1 rereleases) were like $9AU, or free when a PS+ member. Will people be able to download these games with the 30day PS+ membership and keep them, or are they only kept as long as you have membership?

Edit: just realised it didn't cover Australia. Wonder if we get any love...
