Somewhat disgracefully, that's from the US version of the blog here [http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/05/16/details-for-playstation-network-and-qriocity-customer-appreciation-program-in-north-america/]. The EU version [http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2011/05/16/details-of-the-welcome-back-programme-for-scee-users-2] has no explicit 'these games can be kept forever' and includes the ambiguously worded term above (which isn't included in the US release).Ellen of Kitten said:BGH122 said:Sadly, a quote from their blog reveals the following:

You will have access to the PS Plus content planned for May for 30 days. Access to the free games and exclusive features finishes at the end of the 30-day subscription period. I hope so, but as I was discussing above, there doesn't appear to be any reason for the EU blog to have this ambiguously worded proviso and the complete absence of an explicit permission for unlimited license other than to later pull a dick move on us.Sinclose said:On the US blog, they explicitly stated that you get 30 days to download your stuff and that you can keep it forever.BGH122 said:Sadly, a quote from their blog reveals the following:

I believe the 30 days referred only to the time frame within which the offer is available.
I wish you luck, but I think you'll be fine.BGH122 said:Somewhat disgracefully, that's from the US version of the blog here [http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/05/16/details-for-playstation-network-and-qriocity-customer-appreciation-program-in-north-america/]. I'll be pretty freakin' angry if only we EUers get stiffed.
Someone above suggested turning this apology into a chance for cash. If you have the hardcopy of the games, then you can trade them in, and just use the downloaded copy. But as I suggested before, I'm betting that this freebie move is going to devalue those games in a real hurry. Like in a month they'll be in the $7 bin. If I already had them, I'd be doing that. Then I could buy any one/two psn games I wanted with it.Bucht said:I already own the two games I care about (Infamous and LBP).
But this looks like a good chance to get introduced to the Ratchet & Clank series.
Still don't know if I should get Wipeout or Dead Nation as second game...
