Well well well sony you surprised me, triple A titles? And here i thought you were gonna have a bunch of games that no one would want to play. Well i was wrong, now if you would bring up the ps store you can seal the deal.
According to the europe blog, you had to have had an account from at least the 20th April 2011 (which I'm assuming is before the downtime happened). It makes sense to me: no reason to give away free stuff to someone who wasn't affected by the problem.iblis666 said:id think as long as you have an account you can download it within the next 30 days since to not do that could alienate new customers that they might want to keepcrazyfoxdemon said:My question is this. I have used PSN to buy games and stuff for my PSP. If I bought a PS3 now, would I be eligable to download the free PS3 games instead of the PSP games? If so.. I think I may just have to purchase a PS3
The people who already have PSN Plus get it for sixty days according to the europe blog. I assume it will be the same everywhere.theloneassassin said:Yes, and what about the people who brought PSN plus already? I hope we get the free one month plus another month to make up for what we lost. Also the games on here are nothing to brag about. Most of then are old titles that have been out for a long time. I think they should give the people who actually had credit cards on there more of a bonus then those who did not. That's just me and it seems fair but hey life is never fair.
Thanks for clearing that up for me.Flare Phoenix said:The people who already have PSN Plus get it for sixty days according to the europe blog. They are giving away games they had a major hand in making. They are honestly not losing that much, who would be buying those games at this point in time anyway?darthzew said:This isn't too bad. They could do a little more, of course, but this is good. They're not exactly the latest greatest, but there are good titles on this list. And at least you get to choose.
Anyone remember when Xbox Live was down for like three days around Christmastime one year? They gave us Undertow (an XBLA game). I'd say Sony managed to top that, although this is a much bigger deal and definitely warrants something bigger. I'd say if you did the math though, Sony is being a bit more generous.
Sorry mate, unless you already had a PSN account on 20th April, you can't get them.JasonKaotic said:Wow. That is.. extremely good timing. After my exams have finished I'm getting a PS3, and the two games that have made me want to get one are going out for free.
Fuck yeah.
(Just hoping the offer'll still be on when I get my PS3..)
Honestly it's surprising that they are even giving anything. I would much rather have an update that fixes some of the major psn problems and adds features such as in game mic chat with friends that are playing different games. Like xbox in a way but I doubt it will ever happen.grimner said:theloneassassin said:They are giving away games they had a major hand in making. They are still AAA games being given, and a good deal for people who missed them first time around. Again, was anyone expecting them to give away EA games?
You need a bigger memory stick then.. Hell.. I have FFVII and FFVIII on my PSP with 3gb left over..Xiado said:Good luck fitting two of those PSP games on one Memory Stick. I can't even fit effing Final Fantasy VII.
