Tarr Voxin
"Uggh, like you wouldn't believe." he said, taking another long swig of his drink. "I think my first mistake was getting Kottal to help me. When hunting Jedi, it probably wasn't the best idea to get a trigger happy Mandalorian as a partner. I got the guy the Hutts were after, and then found out that the client got blown up. As for the Jedi bartender, well, Kottal managed to blow up the building while I was chasing the other guy down. When I got back, some jackass that had parked out front decided to be a prick and started blasting my ship for fun." he sighed. "Then, they called the cops. Barely managed to scrape ourselves away from the scene before they showed up. Nobody knows where Triz Maston disappeared to after that, but frankly I don't care much anymore."

The serving droid made another pass, and Tarr refilled his drink. "After that, it was just one long, sorry trek from one bad job to the next. Sure, when Thrawn decided to "invite" me to work for him via tractor beam, I got payed well. I got to shoot pirates and be an enforcer for a little while. Then came the attack on Coruscant, which went okay, before I crashed. Again. Then, Zex and I decided to come here and spend a few days looking through a swamp for some prick who'd skimped out on his debts to Gasanda. Then you shot him."

"Republic and Jedi Order business. It's simply a much safer place to operate than Coruscant at the moment. We'll be heading off tomorrow anyway"

Hann was still holding back from giving the traveler any important information about the Jedi pair. His curiosity didn't sit right with him. He'd asked specifically for Jedi to accompany him rather than a simple mercenary and then there just happened to be an attack by Empire-aligned Sith.

"Master, if you hear me, be on your guard. I think this guy's an Imperial spy" he said mentally, hoping Xyras would hear his warning.

"I could make the argument that Tattoine is probably one of the most dangerous planets in the galaxy. Especially for people carrying important cargo, more than once mercs have tried to rip me off and steal my cargo in town. Tell ya what, when we get to town I'll buy you both a drink if you want. Any food you need too, I owe you at least that much, probably more since this moisture container is gonna bring in some huge bucks."

Drokath looked towards the city, it was in his view now. The city glowed in the intense heat of the desert. An oasis in a barren wasteland that he was more than ready to be rid of.

"Hurry, if we keep going we wont have to spend the night in the cold. Raiders have a bad tendency to take advantage of that."

Del finished his latest target with a stab through the middle. The machine, it's vital systems now slag, crumpled to the ground and lay there twitching. Del brought himself back up to his full height and looked around for his next victim.

The main invasion force had reached Del's team faster then he had expected. As one, the legion of Stormtroopers had marched down the street, destroying the droids that stood in their way. Although the droids where inexperienced and outdated, their where more of them then there where Imperials and Republicans. But the Stormtroopers where passionate and deadly, and for every brave man lost, 20 droids followed. Under siege from all sides, the droid army of the Sith was being rapidly pushed back. They where nearly to the Counsel Building in the center of the city, where the Sith had barricaded themselves in.

An AT-ST marched past Del as he selected his next target: yet another squad of droids. Drawing on the Force, Del extended his hand and sent forth a wave of force lightning. The bolt struck the leading droid and spread among the group until all where being shocked. Del cut of the lightning and the droids collapsed, their circuits fried. He ducked behind a bit of cover to catch his breath; using the force to such an extent tired him. Somewhat rejuvenated, Del removed himself from behind the cover and charged forward.

He chopped up another squad of super battle droids before he saw the team of clones. They had charged forward from behind the front line of droids, their electrostaffs twirling and jabbing as they dispatched of a group of Stormtroopers. There where 5 of them; probably a commando squad of sorts. Del had to emit that they where skilled. But not as skill as him. He propelled himself forward with the Force to stab one of them in the gut. As Dell removed his lightsaber from the corpse, the other clones turned to face him. "Lets see what you tank-breads are made of." Del said as he adopted a fighting guard.

The clone to Del's right reached him first. The clone jabbed at Del with his weapon. He sidestepped and decapitated the clone with his lightsaber, and continued the stroke to block another jab. Deflecting the electrostaff up above his head, Del grabbed the end closest to him and wrenched it out of the clone's hands in a single tug and drove it into another clones head. Releasing the electrostaff, Del did a 180 to block a head strike from the last armed clone. The clone followed up with another strike at Del's legs, which was also blocked. Seeing an opening, Del lashed out with his saber to cut off the clone's arm. Del turned away from the clone, now screaming in pain, and towards to one whose electrostaff he had stolen. He was fumbling with a blaster pistol on his hip; apparently it was stuck. Del grabbed the clone with the Force and drove his skull into his brother's, killing them both.

Turning away from the bodies, Del briefly reflected on the fight. Although he had taken care of the clones easily enough, he recognized the threat they posed. If the Sith ever started mass producing such soldiers, the Empire could quickly find itself between a rock and a hard place.

"I am, Hann. Something is clearly amiss here..." He relayed back to his Padawan.
The trio reached the city soon enough, as twilight began to fall on the desert planet, and walking through the decrepit gates, they attracted many onlookers, due to both their robes and the cargo they transported. The entrance to the city was very much the slum, and thirsty looking denizens gazed in awe at the water they guarded.
"Mr Kendet... you don't suppose you wish to do business at this moment do you? I'm sure even the poor have a coin or two to spare for water." Xyras suggested, feeling pity for these poor folk.

Grissk watched from the Counsel building as the allied Republic and Empire forces were pushing back the clone and droid army in places. He called out a group of the more Elite clones and veteran droids that were up to date. fifty in number, they left the building and joined the battle outside their walls. He got on his commlink

"Status report, Commander. Pana, how is the battle going? If you have any fighters to spare, we need them. Our lines are beginning to buckle and we do not have enough Sith to compensate for their Force-sensitives."

He led the force straight into the flank of an advancing Republic/Empire patrol. They were slaughtered to a man, over a hundred in all, with little more than a few light wounds on the Sith's side, no deaths. Surprise was something that counted in battle just as much as numbers and strength of arm.

His force made a sweeping advance, slaughtering countless troopers and Stromtroopers, he mostly used his saber, but there were times when using his Force powers was neceassary and the invaders were driven back. A few survivors were able to get through the new line, but there was only one squad that caught his attention, he commanded the droids in first, who managed to kill most of the squad following the Del Karcot, the rest of the droids and clones, he ordered to surround the market where he was in.

He stood on a rooftop, saber on and in one hand in a non-threatening gesture,"So, you came back. Do you perhaps wish to join us now? And so soon too. How long do you think this Alliance will last,Kalcot? Not long, you and the Republic have very different ideals you hold fast to.How long before one or the other of you break the truce? Thrawn most likely, as power hungry as he is. The Jedi are far too passive to care about this small planet, so why do you fight for them,"He spoke to the Republic soldiers in Del's squad,"Join with us, and we can promise much more than either of these two can ever hope to achieve, despite what they say. You could all become valuable assets to the New Sith Order, you say you fight for peace, but what do you do beyond fight wars you have no say in? Wars that take you away from your families only to return and find them gone.We fight for galactic peace for everyone, yet you continue to hold fast to the corrupt institutions that make you continue to fight without any end in sight. Why, I ask you?"

Drokath looked around and shared the empathy, Talos would never allow this to be so wide spread, yeah I think I should. The beggars and the destitute saw the large carrier and began asking for some, either to keep off dehydration or for their families. He really was not supposed to, as Jrakratta is pretty unforgiving about that, but he hoped that his boss would not notice a few pounds missing of the two tons in there.

"Yeah, I could get in trouble for this, but I believe we should." He loudly exclaimed the going price for water and dozens of the poor came out of whatever holes they lived in to pay for it. He could see the smiles of those around him and the gratitude of a few that may not have survived without the life bringing liquid. He knew that the wealthy had a bad tendency to buy up crates like the ones he had and then sell it at insane prices, the Hutts were a scourge across the planet, he contemplated a mission to slaughter all of them after this was done.

With the people of the slum now gone, he checked the remaining water. There was a small chunk missing, more than he had hoped would be gone, but the money was going to Jrakatta directly so maybe he would not be so mad. The station was in front of the trio now. He walked in and saw that most of the going and passing had finished, Jrakratta buzzed around, he was more green than blue, and wore a duster coat with some odd looking hat, probably used to block the sun, a few gizmos and gadgets were on it, not even Drokath could guess what they were for.

"Kendet! You are late, do you know how much trouble this has put me in? The Hutts wanted this moisture in yesterday and now three thugs came in and trashed up the place, they almost took my speeder before the guards came. You better have all of it."

Drokath looked at Jrakratta in sympathy, the Toydarian was constantly bullied by the local thugs and gangsters. Really, after this, I am killing all of the Hutts. "Actually, I sold a tiny bit of it, no more than 50 pounds or so, I have the money from it right here. The poor people living outside the station bought it and what did you want me to do? Leave them to die?"

Jrakratta exploded. "You what!? The Hutts are going to murder me for this! They purposely cut them off from water to get them to buy it at their prices! You ruined everything! They are going to chop my wings off for this! Get out of my sight!"

Drokath protested, "Don't be over dramatic, they won't even notice the small amount missing, it will be-"

Jrakatta interrupted, "No, it will not be fine. I want you out, take your pay, don't expect any jobs from me for a while." He floated off and yelled in a language that Drokath did not understand. "To be perfectly honest, I saw this coming. The credits here are enough for us to still get a drink and a place to stay, it is because of you guys that I am still alive so how about that drink huh?" In a way, he was perfectly honest about this.

Del jumped atop a roof of his own to be level with Grissk. "More of your convoluted speeches, Grissk?" he said. "For a lizard you sure do bark a lot." Del hoped his taunting would anger the Sith; he knew from experience that a pissed off opponent was more likely to make a mistake, and it wasn't the Sith way to reject such emotions.

"I pity you all," He burst out, ignoring Del's nagging comments,"You all have a choice to either fight for something lasting and yet, you follow a man such as this!"

he pointed at Del with his lightsaber, though was ready to change into a defensive stance should the man jump across,"A man who was first Jedi trained, but went to Thrawn to lick his feet! How can you trust a man whose loyalties can be bought with simple fear?Someone who condemns an Order for the mistakes of the past, yet wants his own Imperial lords forgiven for what they have done before without regret and will do again to each of your families? The Sith are not your enemy, we are your saviours, and we fight for a peace that you all hope to someday achieve through a corrupt system!"

"WE are the light that will purge away the infestation that is the Fascist Empire, and the Republic that bickers over who gets the higher end of a trade agreement, and sends you, their soldiers, to war when the senators do not get what they believe they deserve? Join us, and you can be a part of a brotherhood that has existed for millenia, but has been scorned for the mistakes of the few."

Throughout the speech he had used the Force to empower his voice, to seek out the weaker willed in the joint patrol, they could be his first strike if he played this right.

"You accuse me of being a hypocrite?" Del said. Never mind teasing, Grissk's words where effecting the men below, he could see it. "Look at you, calling Thrawn and the Empire corrupt warmongers. Perhaps you should take a good long look at your own "Dark Lord" Ryn'Talos, and then tell me who's evil." Del looked down on the men below, but stayed alert of the Sith through the force, in case he attacked. "This monster" Del said, pointing his saber at Grissk "would bring, not salvation, but enslavement to this world and the galaxy at large. He says his order stands for peace and justice, but it is a lie. His master would see you all killed, your wives raped, and your children in chains." Del now turned back to Grissk and dropped him lightsaber to his side. "The Sith are a disease, and the Empire is the vaccine."

"Focus on reinforcing the anti ship batteries and any key buildings that provide either cover or reconnaissance of the surrounding area." Pana said then picked up the comm line. "I'm sending down troop reinforcements along with fighters to aid. I'll be joining you soon." she replied as the cockpit came down over her head.

She took off along with some of the other fighters from the Liberator. It wasn't very long until they were overhead. She opened the cockpit enough to jump out and let the R4 pilot the X-wing to a landing spot. She was a good distance away, and began using to force to jump and bound along towards Grissk and Del, noticeably coming towards them, they could feel her just by the force alone.

The Liberator was doing well, shields still holding because of tactics used by her pilot. She was moving behind wrecks, using them for cover and firing off plasma torpedoes through holes in them.

Katarn, Bellator Battlecruiser
They hadn't managed to beat Kyle there. Kares and Vic arrived to see Kyle move like a whirlwind through the bridge operators. Eying the Sith commanding the vessel, Kyle put on an extra rush of speed, barreling into the Sith with a sports tackle rather than a Jedi fighting technique. Taken off guard, the Sith commander was lifted into the air and throw violently against the control console like a ragdoll. By the time he had managed to steady himself, Kyle's lightsaber made its one and only swing. The Sith had stood barely a moment before his head separated from his body.

The SpecForce troops rushed the operators, executing the droids with extreme prejudice and wrestling the controls from the Sith's thralls that refused to back down. The bridge was theirs. Getting a head count, Katarn confirmed that the entire boarding party was present.

"Seal the bridge access." he ordered. Kyle headed for the life support console. "Is the slave circuitry working? Have we got all the main systems linked to the bridge?"

"Yes sir," answered one of the SpecForce commandos. "Awaiting your orders."

Kyle grinned. "It might seem a bit dark, but what the hell, we don't want them sneaking up on us, do we? Flush the ship. Shut off the life support systems everywhere but on the bridge, and open any non vacuum sealed rooms. That outta keep them nice and dead."

The commando nodded. The bridge bulkhead sealed shut. Heavy rumblings passed through the ship as he keyed in the commands. Several thousand Sith troopers were killed without a sound. Now it was time to put their new acquisition to good work. Kyle commed the Imperial ground forces.

"To whoever can hear this, tell Karcot that the ship is ours. I repeat, the ship is ours. I hope the Mon Cals don't mind if we redecorate their city a little."

"Umm, sir, what are you doing?" asked one of the mercs.

Kyle spoke without a hint of irony in his voice. "I'm going to ram the Council building with a ten kilometer long flying skyscraper. And you're all going to help me. Full power to the forward shields. Blast any sith ship in our way. Time to bring the cavalry home. I hope Del can wait a bit longer."

"Are you nuts?!" Vic shouted at Katarn, even as the SpecForce troopers hustled around him to various consoles. "That's the sort of ordinance you use to take down a city! You'll bring down a lot more than the Council building with that kind of--"

A hand clamped over his mouth. Kares wagged a finger in front of his friend's face, scolding him. "Ah, ah, ah. No talky! Just crashy!"

He dragged Vic over to a console, and the two got to work. Kares was no master navigator, but he knew plenty about directing an object towards another. With no less than ten seconds of various button presses and interface commands, the Bellator was angled on a course heading directly for the Capital building. Vic was busy coordinating with a Twi'lek trooper, running algorithms to figure out how much shielding and where they would need to survive this impact.

Commander Coric
Coric was on the comlink as soon as he heard the news. The masters needed to hear about it immediately. Ducking behind the rubble of a demolished embassy foyer, he punched in the priority signal as fast as his shaking hands could.

"My lords, the Bellator has broken off from the main fleet! It's moving on a collision course for the city! We need to evacuate our ground forces!"

Blaster fire stabbed through the air above Coric, catching two of his troops in the chest. Several droids moved to take their position, firing back at the Republic soldiers. They were pinned down, unable to move, and with a city sized missile aimed directly at them. He didn't like his chances, but he kept repeating the message to the Sith Commanders. Their lives were more important to the cause than his own. He could be grown back, they couldn't.

Coric turned to the commando droid laying down suppressing fire against the onslaught. "DC 6241, hold down this position as long as you can. I'm sending a relay to the other droid units to hold the line and cover the Clone's fallback procedure. Keep the New Republic off our backs!"

The droid acknowledged Coric with an emotionless "Roger Roger." and continued to fire its repeating blaster. The Clones retreated deeper into the building, the ground rumbling from turbolaser impacts and crashing debris from the space battle above. Coric looked up into the smoke filled sky, and immediately regretted it. At a glance, it looked like a solar eclipse was occurring. However, with his helmet's built in macrobinoculars, Coric knew otherwise. The massive, spear shaped vessel was careening through the atmosphere, the air igniting from the speed of it's reentry vector. The Bellator's outer armor plating was glowing red and flaking off like a snake shedding skin. And it was headed straight for the city.

"Move MOVE MOVE!" he screamed into his comlink.

"Negative, keep pressing on them. I haven't come this far only to be pushed back by some stubborn commander!" Pana shouted into the comms. She took a look up at the Ship re-entering.
Why do they have to be so big... she sighed then tapped into her rage.

"I have not come this far only to be stopped!" she shouted and began focusing on the ship. The Twi'lek mustered everything she could. The ship slowly stopped accelerating, it began going off course too. With each passing second, the speed took longer to increase until it stopped. SHe pushed even harder on the ship as it began to slow.

Del heard his comlink go off. He opened it and brought it up to his face, never taking his eyes off of Grissk. "What it is?" he said.

"It's Zesk. Kyle Katarn driving a battle cruiser into Coral City! You have to get out of there!"

Del took a moment to absorb this new information before finally responding "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HIM!?!" He turned to his troops. "EVERYONE TO THE DROP SHIPS! WE GOTTA GO!" No longer caring about Grissk and the other Sith he could feel approaching, Del jumped down to the streets and joined the mob of soldiers running for the transport. I swear I'll have Katarn's head. Del thought as he ran.

"We're going off course!" a trooper shouted. Klaxons blared as the Bellator lost its target and began to drift off. "What's going on?!"

"Ain't it obvious?" Kares shouted over to him, still working at his console. "We're fighting the Sith, right? So that must mean one very angry Sith doesn't want us crashing their pretty little ship. But unless they can do better than this, they're DAMN stupid for trying. Hey, Vic!"

"What?" he said, back turned to him from his location.

"Cut the power to the shields, and divert everything to the engines!"

"OK, so now you've lost it too?!" the dwindling voice of reason cried out in a sea of insane Jedi and mercenaries. "That'll kill us!"

"No it won't!" Kares insisted. He entered dozens of commands into his navigation console, resisting the Force itself with everything he could muster in the ship. "I can set this ship back on course easy enough. All we have to do is apply enough power that whoever's trying to stop us exhausts themselves! Then we can divert power back to the shields without worrying about getting stopped like this. So do it!"

Vic sighed. One of these days this sort of crap would get him killed. And he would be waiting up for Kares with the holiest of lead pipes to wreak his vengeance with.

The Bellator's engines burst to new life, all of their might tugging with renewed vigor, and putting even greater strain on the Sith's abilities as inch by inch, the ship corrected its course.

Grissk looked to see the Bellator bearing down on his position when it suddenly began slowing. He searched for any nearby Force flares, and found one. Pana had arrived planetside.

He looked back at the surrounded soldiers, "If any of you will not listen to reason, you can die. Kill them."

The squads combined firepower, height advantage, and surprise quickly spelled the end for Del Karcot's foot soldiers, another hundred men dead because of the Republic's and Empire's refusal to allow for peace.

Grissk put away his saber, and began retreating a safe distance with his squad, away from Del, he would need no distractions if this was to work properly.

He concentrated, pulling all the hate, rage, and passion he could find within himself and launched a single bolt of Sith Lightning at the approaching ship's bridge, hoping to disable it's shields if nothing else, possibly killing whoever had taken hold of the ship.

Katarn, Bellator
"Katarn, we're slowing down! What the hell is going on!?" wailed one of the troopers.

He was right. They were stopping. There weren't any tractor bean signatures affecting the vessel, though. Something else was holding them in place. Kyle reached out with the force, having a sinking suspicion that the Sith probably had something to do with their predicament. It took him no time to find the source of the power. It practically lit up like a sun in comparison to the Force aura of anyone else on the planet. Some Sith Lord, incredibly powerful by the looks of things, was traveling swiftly through the skies, focusing her power on stopping the ship.

"Drop the shield generators and feed everything we have into the engines!" Kyle barked. The ship began to lurch forward, but despite the extra power forced into the thrusters, the Sith was still keeping the Battlecruiser from moving at any sort of ramming speed. He reached out again, this time focusing on the Sith's transport. If she was in the air, she had been flying something. It felt like a starfighter. She was on the ground now, but Kyle could still feel the power of the ship she had flown in on. It was nearby. Furrowing his brow, Kyle pushed hard against the ship, knocking it towards her. The sudden threat of being pasted by a crashing starfighter must have thrown off the Sith's concentration for a split second, and the ship rocketed forward before being stopped again.

"This isn't working." he grunted, struggling to push back against the Sith's power. "On my mark, activate the hyperdrive."

"What!? That will tear the ship apart!" protested Jan. "The gravity well will rip the hyperdrive to shreds and take us with it!"

"Not unless we use the explosion as a rocket." he panted. "Couple an exploding Hyperdrive with full thrusters, and nothing can stop this bullet. Do it now!"

The ship shook violently. Dozens of alarms began ringing through the bridge as explosions rocked the massive engine array. The strain was too much. The hyperdrive detonated.

Kyle was thrown from his feet, sliding across the bridge and slamming into a wall by the sudden thrust. He felt the Sith's resistance suddenly cease. The shock of the energy burst must have overwhelmed her at last, and she broke off the connection. Struggling under the weight of the g-force acting on his body, Kyle squinted through the viewport. The Mon Cal city was coming up much quicker than he'd hoped. A massive surge of lightning shot up from the planet, shattering the transparisteel windows and setting the bridge on fire. Consoles sparked and dozens of explosions rocked the the ship's superstructure.

"Sir, we don't have time for a course correction! The ship's maneuvering thrusters are fried, I can't get her back under control!"

"Everybody, brace for impact!"

Sarik
As the Nikto led Julia away to the party, Sarik moved the speeder closer to the worker's entrance. It was guarded by a surly looking Gammorean, but a quick jab to the face by Sarik and the pig crumpled against the wall. Crouching, Sarik sneaked through the worker's quarters. The dullards didn't even notice him pass through the kitchens and into the Hutt's luxurious ballroom where the clan members had situated their mobile thrones. Now, he just had to play the part of a party goer, and shadow Julia's every move.

Scanning the room, he eventually saw her. The Nikto was leading her towards a cluster of Hutts gathered around a shared smoking pit. The incense and smell of death sticks wafted a long ways, and Sarik had to cover his nose to keep his sensitive nostrils from bleeding at the sharp smell.

Keeping a safe distance and using his peripheral vision, Sarik watched as Julia was brought before their target. An enormously obese specimen, even for a hutt, Gregori lay across a massive bed of silk pillows, wearing Twilek slave girls like jewelry. He spoke in a deep, blubbery accent, slurring his words as drool leaked from the corner his mouth like a drainage pipe.

"So, Julia, my dear daughter." he laughed. "You found your way home at last, did you? And all by yourself too! You are such a wonderful pet, my sweet. Far more than these specimens could ever hope to be. I miss running my fingers through your hair. Such a strange and yet sensational feeling a hutt can get only from a human. Twileks cannot compare, lest you wish to give one permanent brain damage. Please, come forward so I can see you better my love."

Sarik noticed a glint of metal. The Nikto had shoved a blaster into Julia's back, pushing her forward until she had to crane her neck upwards to view Gregori's face. "I believe you have something of mine, Julia. Something that you failed to deliver. I want it back."

This was bad. The Nikto still held the gun to Julia, and if Sarik shot him first, then they'd be dead before they could even have a chance to threaten the Kajidic. He hoped Julia knew what she was doing, but he kept his hand on his blaster, waiting to strike.

Pana was pushed back, feet dragging through the ground and cracking the floor beneath her. She regained herself enough to see the ship rocketing towards her.

She was truly getting ticked off now. Stopping the limit she had put on her powers, everyone felt the sense of dread rise within themselves. She slammed her palm hard on the ground, forcing the ships nose down. All she had to do was push against it again.

The ship's nose hit the ground, running over countless homes and killing even more. She pushed back against the ship, dark aura clearly visible around her and disappearing into the air in a trail leading towards the ship. IT kept getting close to Pana as she push, but it began slowing under the friction of the ground and her powers.
