Katarn, Bellator
"Katarn, we're slowing down! What the hell is going on!?" wailed one of the troopers.
He was right. They were stopping. There weren't any tractor bean signatures affecting the vessel, though. Something else was holding them in place. Kyle reached out with the force, having a sinking suspicion that the Sith probably had something to do with their predicament. It took him no time to find the source of the power. It practically lit up like a sun in comparison to the Force aura of anyone else on the planet. Some Sith Lord, incredibly powerful by the looks of things, was traveling swiftly through the skies, focusing her power on stopping the ship.
"Drop the shield generators and feed everything we have into the engines!" Kyle barked. The ship began to lurch forward, but despite the extra power forced into the thrusters, the Sith was still keeping the Battlecruiser from moving at any sort of ramming speed. He reached out again, this time focusing on the Sith's transport. If she was in the air, she had been flying something. It felt like a starfighter. She was on the ground now, but Kyle could still feel the power of the ship she had flown in on. It was nearby. Furrowing his brow, Kyle pushed hard against the ship, knocking it towards her. The sudden threat of being pasted by a crashing starfighter must have thrown off the Sith's concentration for a split second, and the ship rocketed forward before being stopped again.
"This isn't working." he grunted, struggling to push back against the Sith's power. "On my mark, activate the hyperdrive."
"What!? That will tear the ship apart!" protested Jan. "The gravity well will rip the hyperdrive to shreds and take us with it!"
"Not unless we use the explosion as a rocket." he panted. "Couple an exploding Hyperdrive with full thrusters, and nothing can stop this bullet. Do it now!"
The ship shook violently. Dozens of alarms began ringing through the bridge as explosions rocked the massive engine array. The strain was too much. The hyperdrive detonated.
Kyle was thrown from his feet, sliding across the bridge and slamming into a wall by the sudden thrust. He felt the Sith's resistance suddenly cease. The shock of the energy burst must have overwhelmed her at last, and she broke off the connection. Struggling under the weight of the g-force acting on his body, Kyle squinted through the viewport. The Mon Cal city was coming up much quicker than he'd hoped. A massive surge of lightning shot up from the planet, shattering the transparisteel windows and setting the bridge on fire. Consoles sparked and dozens of explosions rocked the the ship's superstructure.
"Sir, we don't have time for a course correction! The ship's maneuvering thrusters are fried, I can't get her back under control!"
"Everybody, brace for impact!"

Sarik
As the Nikto led Julia away to the party, Sarik moved the speeder closer to the worker's entrance. It was guarded by a surly looking Gammorean, but a quick jab to the face by Sarik and the pig crumpled against the wall. Crouching, Sarik sneaked through the worker's quarters. The dullards didn't even notice him pass through the kitchens and into the Hutt's luxurious ballroom where the clan members had situated their mobile thrones. Now, he just had to play the part of a party goer, and shadow Julia's every move.
Scanning the room, he eventually saw her. The Nikto was leading her towards a cluster of Hutts gathered around a shared smoking pit. The incense and smell of death sticks wafted a long ways, and Sarik had to cover his nose to keep his sensitive nostrils from bleeding at the sharp smell.
Keeping a safe distance and using his peripheral vision, Sarik watched as Julia was brought before their target. An enormously obese specimen, even for a hutt, Gregori lay across a massive bed of silk pillows, wearing Twilek slave girls like jewelry. He spoke in a deep, blubbery accent, slurring his words as drool leaked from the corner his mouth like a drainage pipe.
"So, Julia, my dear daughter." he laughed. "You found your way home at last, did you? And all by yourself too! You are such a wonderful pet, my sweet. Far more than these specimens could ever hope to be. I miss running my fingers through your hair. Such a strange and yet sensational feeling a hutt can get only from a human. Twileks cannot compare, lest you wish to give one permanent brain damage. Please, come forward so I can see you better my love."
Sarik noticed a glint of metal. The Nikto had shoved a blaster into Julia's back, pushing her forward until she had to crane her neck upwards to view Gregori's face. "I believe you have something of mine, Julia. Something that you failed to deliver. I want it back."
This was bad. The Nikto still held the gun to Julia, and if Sarik shot him first, then they'd be dead before they could even have a chance to threaten the Kajidic. He hoped Julia knew what she was doing, but he kept his hand on his blaster, waiting to strike.
