I want Arma2:OC to go on sale. That way I can download the mod DayZ and kill some more zombies!!! Actually, I get the feeling I'd be doing more running than shooting in DayZ. That mod looks crazy fun.
The mod itself is fun, you get really parinoid and most people are dicks, but it starts to get boring if you die too often. But when you get a group of friends together, then the REAL fun starts. (and the frustration)

I got robbed of my beans twice. I still love the mod :D

OT: This will be my first Steam summer sale, is it a list of games that go on sale each day for one day or a list of games that are on sale for the whole summer?

Lots of games will be reduced through out the sale but each day will have specific games with even better deals.

I went out last night and lost my card in a club. Steam sale starts within the next 2 days most likely. Replacement card will not arrive for 14 working days.

You could always go out and buy one of those Visa pre-paid gift cards, Steam accepts them.

It's alright, they accept some transfer thing that doesn't need your card. I've only ever used my card to pay, didn't realise they were quite so robust.

I'm mostly going to be picking up a few odds and ends that I actually want and try real hard not to impulse buy this time. Lone Survivor, Fate of the World, and the new Penny Arcade thing made by the Cthulhu Saves the World guys are the only things I am definitely going to buy. I might get a few more expensive things if they go on super daily sale. It really needs to start soon. I've been convincing myself it'll start tomorrow for the past 4 days and I'm starting to get antsy.

I have an incredibly long backlog - i have pretty much every game i want. there are about 10 that could possibly be on the sale that i would be moderately interested if they dropped enough:

Rayman Origins
Crysis 2
Trine 2
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
All the Deathspank games
Age of Empires
Shank 2
Guild wars - just rebuy it so i can launch it from steam and have the pretty grid mode icon.

the top 3 are my only big ones - but they would need to hit about 5 bucks a peice for me to consider buying them.

Torchlight 2 is the only big one on my wish list - ill buy that the day it comes out.

EDIT: OH SHIT! DARKSIDERS! I WANT THAT.

after going through the list of games i own vs games i want, I realized this is going to be my lightest steam sale ever.

Last year EA dominated my wanted games list and none are on steam so i bought alot of games i was interested in. This year I have almost all the older games I want but so many cool non-ea games are coming. holiday sale and next summer sale are probably gonna kill me.

Hopefully the Monkey Island SEs, maybe a few indie-games, particuarly A Valley Without Wind, and a few Sims 3 expansions.

That's it.

Hey there is another game you should try if you like Arcen games (THey made A valley without wind)

AI War: Fleet Command.

It is a great RTS where the games can go on for more then 10 hours. Thank god for save states.

Could always head to your nearest game store and get a couple of these...<.<

There isn`t anything particular I´m looking out for, but I´ll keep my eyes wide open nonetheless. They`re pratcically giving away some of those games.

Looking forward to it!

It's a week long sale where a LOT of games are on sale. Every game on sale has one day during the week where they go "super sale" and are off for an even higher amount. After their respective days, they return to the normal sale.

Sometimes there are fancy fun competitions and sweepstakes and stuff.

Dammit, when is this bloody sale going to start? I swear, Valve is just trolling us now. They probably noticed all the anticipation and moved it back a week or something.

OT: Kind of hoping Crysis 2 goes down. I've been meaning to pick that up for a while now. Also the new Civ expansion, although I don't think they will considering it was only released very recently.

I've read every page of this thread, and it's nice to see the love for ArmA II, even if only to play a mod. It's a great game in its own right.

Should Steam have another summer sale, I'm pretty sure I will be bleeding my bank account dry. Hmmmm... Let's see...

If I have the money, I will be picking up:

- Skyrim
- Torchlight 2
- Spec Ops: The Line
- Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai + DLC
- Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
- Metro 2033

We are having record heat this summer. I should probably not go outside too much.

Well I'm SORRY everyone isn't American. :)
Edit: I'm in a similar dilemma. Not much I can do.

I can't really think of anything I'd straight out jump on if they were on sale, my Steam wishlist is mainly full of things that look mildly interesting. Maybe if they have a combo pack sale on DLC for Train Simulator 2012.

I'm gonna buy a lot of indie hits that are just a tad too expensive for me for now. Binding of Isaac, Hack Slash Loot, Tiny and Big, Legend of Grimrock, and with any luck A Valley without Wind. Dunno if I'll be able to get those for 20 euros, but I hope so!

In the mean time I'm enjoying this topic [http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2711515] quite a lot.
Binding of Isaac is WELL worth the asking price. I'm at 139 hours played. Which is at least 10 times more than most AAA games. Its a fantastic piece of entertainment.

On topic: Not sure if there is anything I want. I've preordered Darksiders 2...other games that interest me I either own, or they havent been released yet.
