only one i can think of is even when i know an enemy is dead i have to shoot it a couple of times, thanks dead space ;) apart from that i gradually become more and more organised every time i play a new game. i dunno, like reloading every weapon before an encounter.

I constantly reload even if I have only fired 1 bullet from a 60 round magazine. Also when my character is hurt I usually act like I am being hurt, murmuring ah and ow.

Conserving items, to the point where i will purposly ignore resurrecting characters in rpgs because i don't need / like them (its always a pain to try and level them up afterwords).

And then theres the cherry tapping (not going to link to tv tropes for your safety)

Forgetting to save, seriously its a pain, especially if you pull an all nighter on a game just to get owned right at the end of the night.

multiple saves, seriously after the unwinable states of old i cant play without doing this.

Because of Fallout 3, I must look at everyone, and everything. It's starting to become a problem.

Whenever I play a sandbox game, I must find a vista or some kind of view of everything, some place where I can just enjoy the scenery of the game engine, the other beauty. I especially enjoyed how in Red Dead Redemption how the game would switch to a first-person panorama view if you just let the game sit for 2 minutes or so- you could just watch the weather go by and hope that a cougar wouldn't ruin the experience.
I'm the same except when I'm playing games like Prototype or ultimate(i think) Spiderman (Venom missions) the first thing I do is find the highest point, work out how to grab then climb the to the tallest point clutching a civilian or small grabbable enemy and throw them off the top! Admiring the view as they plummet!

Getting god damn EVERYTHING in Fallout/Oblivion games. I have a drawer filled with basically every item in the game in FO3, and had similar in NV before I lost my save file.

Oh yes, all of these. I don't conserve my items to the point I don't resurrect people, but holding onto all the items I can is kinda linked to the thing above. I mean, if I use it now WHAT IF I NEED IT LATER!?

Bringing up the score sheet every time I die on COD. And making sure every player is muted. I always do better if everyone's muted :)

I can never throw anything away/sell it.
In a game like fallout, won't get rid of the worthless crap because it might become useful later on, even though it most likely won't

Reloading anytime I shoot. I put 10 rounds in someone-reload, double tap his head-reload, accidently nudge the trigger causing me to discharge one round from an otherwise full magazine-reload.

Oddly moving the right stick. Either holding it in one direction excessively, or moving it back and forth in one or more direction.

Pressing the button that is on the opposite side of the controller from the one I just pushed. Example: If I pull the right trigger, I feel compelled to pull the left trigger. If I click L3, I feel compelled to click R3.

I have to look into every room. In Dead Space 2, if the game tells me to go one way I'll go the other way to see whats there...Thing is, games like Dead Space punish you for it.

Yeah... Minecraft comes to mind. I get kinda pissed when I dig my mines according to my elaborate layout plans and then hear the gargling/hissing noises of a nearby cave. Which fucks up my layout to the point where I'd like to fill the cave with blocks (of the smooth kind, the manufactured one)
Also, of course, collecting stuff, and subsequently sorting it for hours...

in FPSs, I use ESDF with A for crouch. I crouch a lot for no reason.

I horde things; in Fallout 3 I had so many toasters after a while that it was just ridiculous. Everything just seemed to important which caused me to have more parts for weapons then i would ever need. Needless to say, I was over-encumbered quite a lot.

I hoard everything I can and conserve ammo no matter how much I have. In Final Fantasy games I tend to finish with every Megalixir in the game still in my inventory. In Fallout 2 I was always shuffling items around, selling odds and ends to make room in the trunk for more nifty things I found that I'd never use... in newer Fallout games, well, one of my characters has over five hundred bent tin cans.

Probably spending way to much time in customisation, and trying to open every single chest I find, no matter how many enemies are around it or whether I can take them. I must find out what is in it, just in case it's awesome

I feel like this is turning into a support group for compulsive reloaders, and I'm ok with that. I thought I was all alone out there. Every time I happen to kill somebody with the very last bullet in my clip it just serves to reinforce the habit.
Oh man, is there anything worse than watching somebody play who doesn't share your compulsion? "hey, you might wanna' throw a new clip in before you turn the corner...just sayin'." "Yo, grab a fresh clip." "why don't you go in there with a full--..... you know what, I'm going to go get a sandwich"

NEAT UND TIDY FUR DIE FUHRER, JA?

OT: my character customization has to be perfect, if there is any. I will purposely pick the most badass race for the least suitable class if it looks cool. Go orc mage! Use your one fireball spell, run out of mana instantly and decide to just punch it to death! Even if it is a tentacle bear!
