Stupidest Complaint 2011

I remember reading on YouTube comments that someone didn't like the Nine Inch Nail version of Hurt because it took the Johnny Cash original and ruined it.
There were so many people telling him he was wrong and NIN did it first but the troll was insistent, even saying he had proof Cash wrote it first.

EDIT: I also remember the film Clerks where a customer complained there was no ice so he had to drink his coffe hit, not real but still funny.

The hate is just another case of "sequel hate", which Crysis 2 is also getting.

crysis 2 used a rap song in it's tv commercial. gamers don't like rap.

please add this to your list of dumbest complaints.

I feel that it could have been more emotional if they used the Frank Sinatra version of it, however they don't want to give the game a 'Fallout' feeling.

Dumbest complaint? 'The game isn't big so it has less graphics, that means it's bad.' A paraphrase but it gets the message across.

i had a coworker who never heard of anything. i'd mention something in the news, say, libya or charlie sheen or inception or whatever, and he'd say "no idea, never heard about it. i don't have cable." best part is, i work at a retailer where we literally have hundreds of magazines, dozens covering all these subjects, not to mention video games, movies, music etc. there's copies of the new york times in plain sight to all customers, yet this guy apparently knows nothing about anything cause he doesn't have cable television?

How is this a complaint now again?

OT: A friend of mine wouldn't use a controller because I had a peice of tape on it (It's there so that I can' distinguish it from other controllers).

He said it was too unsymmetrical.

Same thing has happened to me man. And listen to this, I have a friend who claims that Battlefield requires LESS skill than COD because there aren't any perks or super stabbing knife abilities........I had to resist snapping his neck for his ignorance.


EDIT: Just remembered this one. Over-heard a girl talking to her friend and I swear to G-d, this is what she said "OMG! Did you know Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings? I think it was called the Beatles or some shit like that." My inner musician began to cut itself soon afterwards.

Portal 2 is just Portal with better graphics and that's it.
Half-Life 2 is bad because it's unrealistic.

I just been reading the Dragon Age 2 "homosexual" thing (http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/304/index/6661775&lf=8), which seems pretty retarded.

The gist of it is some kid thinks that by including bi/homosexual flirtation in the game, Bioware are neglecting their core audience, straight white guys.

The bit that really gets me is when he claims that over 90% of Dragon Age/RPG players are straight white males. Hmmm.... someone doesn't leave the bedroom much, do they?

The guy presented his point quite civil. There's absolutely no reason to pick on him.

I get a lot of classic RPG fans were annoyed at the changes in DA2 (hell, even I was a little), but this is just plain idiotic.

I also have a friend who loved Halo 3 and Halo Reach but won't play Halo 1 or 2 because they have bad graphics. So he has never actually played the first two campaigns at all.

I have a good one to get the ball rolling. I've been loving Fallout New Vegas. I'm playing it on the 360, so no mods but glitch-wise, it's basically fine for me. Anyway, my friend played it for a while (this is the guy who worships himself for his apparent prowess at Call of Duty and Halo) and when I asked him what he thought of fallout, he said it sucked. Why? Because he said the player has to be too dependent on VATs. he said "there's no aim assist on Fallout, so it's impossible you CAN'T aim." No. YOU can't aim without aim assist, my friend. When you've developed some actual skill, then try playing it.

so what's your dumbest complaint?

The people who say Mass effect 2 isnt an RPG and the idiot who said that Bioware should cater romances to the straight male crowd

ufcourse there are some games that are really clones so i don't mind if you say ict when you have played it, but when you say about a game that isn't released yet, i will kixk my cat out frustration (if i had one). and the stupid side-effect of this is, when poeple are calling a not released game that, the gets a undeserved stamp at the forhead which says: 'clone'. this happened with castlevania lords of shadow. and what seems,: that game was F-ing awesome. to my opinion better then GOW (but to be fair i didn't play that game, so yeah...)

The only way that movie can be good is if it's so gore that kids wont be allowed to see it. But usually a movie starring a bunch of girls is usually shitty. Also no black girl. FAIL.
