Stupidest reason to shoot down a game

My favorite is when people say, "This game sucks because it's Japanese." Such an amazing argument.
Graphics, the number one stupidest reason of all time would be graphics. Who honestly gives a shit. If the game is bad, then it is the story, or mechanics, or it isn't your genre, but it should never be graphics. They don't affect a game at all, not even a little bit. A game's story or mechanics won't be skewed just because the graphics are terrible or something.

but i would like to take the time to defend an average game that got a lot of criticism "Darksiders" YES it is God of War's story mixed with LoZ's game play with WoW's graphics. But to call it a bad game because of that is just wrong. The game play was good and entertaining, it was fun in a primitive way to wail on the enemy with no combos. plus the story and few bits of symbolism were interesting. sure its not original but because it rips off everything else you still get a really fun game, what im trying to get across is its bad to call a game bad because it rips off multiple success is stupid. besides if we did every game would be labeled bad because every game does borrow from other another.

People who shoot down science-fiction shooters in favor in of CoD because "REAL bullets and REAL grenades are more manly than gay gamma rays and shit!" and sci-fi games are "unrealistic" yeah I'm sure Call of Duty is no doubt the most realistic war experience you could get I mean I can totally see someone hip-firing two P-90s.
I traded Knights in the Knightmare for Phantom Hourglass because I found the tutorial to be too long. Sweet mother of all facepalms. What the hell was I thinking?! Arghhh..

Not that I've ever shot down a game for this reason, but I think it would be a stupid reason to do so: You don't like how the boss's henchmen were designed.

My friend who is normally a rational individual and dedicated gamer continues to rage against Mass Effect 2 for control issues on the EMAIL SCREEN. He insists that even with his elementary coding ability he could improve on it in the space of a few minutes.
