because of large faculty rivalries/hazing of frosh at my university, they are trying to ban
inter-faculty rivalries and make frosh week all loving and friendly.
also, the engineering frosh week leaders would wear big chains as part of their getup and also a tradition, and those chains have been banned for being intimidating when all the frosh leaders would do is wear them....

If I am not mistaken, it was a choking hazard or something of that nature. But they aren't banned up in o'l Canada, and some people smuggle them across the border. That is just too funny.Stammer said:

EDIT:Actually, It was banned because a girl died drinking them but she had 2+. It was and is common knowledge that having 1+ was playing with death, so this girl was just ignorant.

It isn't really a ban, but my school (Quote):

I can't help but get the impression that this was put in place due to the following happening.this isnt my name said:
A) Uptight boring person (or persons) get put on a meaningless council so other people don't have to talk to them.
B) Uptight council comes up with ridiculous rule on minimum breast size for porn, and they take it to their superior.
C) Superior says: "Sure, let's just put that rule in place. Because it's a big priority, and as you all know we have so much control over an industry that's almost entirely internet based and most of those involved work under pseudonyms."
D) Uptight council fails to recognise sarcasm.
E) Nobody can be bothered to deal with it because they'd have to talk to the uptight
people and the rule makes no difference anyway.
F) No profit.
Seriously, I would be surprised if there was a single case of that rule being enforced.

Lets see, my school banned: Google,Bing,Yahoo and basicalled anything that has a image searching thing because one person out of 1000 managed to successfully search for porn. It left most us that are taking Graphic Design completely buggered for images apart from any outside sources which not all of us have access to,and despite our constant moaning to them, they refuse to lift the ban. And besides, It annoys me constantly having other students in my school shouting down my ear to tell them to change. Even though I'm the student representative for my mini-school, they just won't listen. Well, that was slightly long. >.<
