Movies that take pride in being terrible before they're even released don't get on my "so bad it's good" list. I only like terrible B movies that don't seem to recognize how horrible they really are. Like the Twilight films.

Of "Smallville" fame? What about "Dukes Of Hazzard" (shakes head sadly) that's why he got the role on "Smallville", to be a sort of "face" in a cast of (then) generally unknown actors from what I've read.

That said, it doesn't sound like quite my type of "B" movie cheez, despite my appreciation for stuff churned out by studios like Troma.

I also don't think anyone is going to outdo the "killer sealife ruins a vacation" standards set recently by "Pihrana 3d" I mean that movie was.... well you just have to see it. Ving Rhames manages to have a death scene that is both incredibly heroic/macho, and unbelievably "WTF did I just see" at the same time. :)

It was funny... until I realized people actually got PAID to make it.... now it's a tragedy.

B-Movie?!? What kinda curve are we grading on, here?!? :p

I'm just curious how anyone could fund something like "Super Shark" considering it's somehow, ugh it hurts to say, a step back for extra-large, poor CGI shark movies.

It simply amazes me that a Were-Shark movie hasn't been pumped out yet, followed immediately by

Twinight: Vampire Batmale vs. Were-Shark.

I don't know about this one.
I like the premise, but I don't think "so-bad-it's-good" really works out when they set out to make a bad movie deliberately. It has to take itself seriously to be truly funny.
But IT HAS A FUCKING TANK KICK A FLYING SHARK IN THE FACE
And that would be good if the producers didn't obviously know that that's ridiculous and are putting it there to be laughed at. In order for it to realize its potential they would have to be completely serious about it. We would still laugh at it, but we would laugh more if it weren't a joke.
