As someone who hasnt got SF4 and was wanting to get into the game at SSF4 PC and has been keeping tabs on the situation I cant say im not suprised this has happened.

The reason SSF4 PC was shelved was due to the high number of pirated copies of SF4 as it was the high pirated gamethat year (even though sales were high), part of the reason was down to the shoddy PW protection system of GFWL which allowed ppl to use CD keys from any other GFWL title and get themselves a fully enabled game (with online play iirc).

Since that time there has been the odd web article talking about the situation and from what I can understand is that the PC platform isnt thought highly of by most Capcom execs. (this is actually a problem with the Japanese industry as a whole, although Capcom is actually more forward thinking then others)

While this is conjecture, I would guess is that the pro PC execs have had to make concessions to get the PC port green lighted. So to anyone thinking of downloading the Crack just to make a point to Capcom, ill say dont, as itll just send the wrong message
