Yep, its not what you think.

Tactical Nuclear Penguin is the worlds strongest beer and has been released by Scottish brewers (Spelling?) to the public.

With each bottle containing 32% alcohol and costing £30 a bottle the creators released this warning on the bottle:

'This is an extremely strong beer; it should be enjoyed in small servings and with an air of aristocratic nonchalance'

Screw that! I'm going down to the nearest shop what stops this with my frat bros and buying a crate of this stuff before it is banned :D

Would any of you buy something like this? I know I would!

Most definately, sounds like a fun plan.

And plus it has the most awesome name for a beer in existence.

God damn, that's possibly the manliest thing I've ever seen. 32% in BEER? Fuck yeah, I'd buy that. Hell, I'd buy it for the name alone.

Talk about something you can only take one shot of...

Can't wait to see all the news reports of stupid people chugging down bottles of the stuff and then dying from car crashes/alcohol poisoning.

So you're saying you're going to willfully and intentionally ignore the maker's warnings about drinking responsibly and attempt to get yourself and your friends completely smashed on an alcoholic beverage that's far more dangerous than any other beer currently known to man... just because.

Sir, with all due respect, this is not something I would be bragging out.

Hm, I once drank a beer that had over 20% of alcohol but tasted horrible.
And for 30 pounds? One bottle, maximum! Just to know if it's as horrible as I expect it to be.
If it's just about the alcohol, I can buy vodka or something instead.

"Far more dangerous than any beer known to man?" That's like saying "this tree is far more dangerous than any other tree known to man!" Beer isn't strong enough to be properly dangerous, and even 32% beer is weak compared to spirits.

This sounds fun, but the big price tag is properly gash. It's almost a guarantee that this will taste fetid based on the fact its being marketed mainly on its strength. As such I'd only drink it to get drunk, and their are nicer and cheaper ways to do that.

sounds interesting... isn't that a lethal dose though?

I would check it out... if I was an alcoholic maniac :p

(I may count in the latter "maniac" category, but not the former I'm afraid...)

Wow, a full 32%?

That's almost impressive. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_by_volume] Seriously, that's about the minimum for vodka.

My thoughts exactly.

It's only unusual because it's been labelled as a beer, if the guy in the OP really wants something strong to drink then they should probably look into getting something like Moonshine or Irish potatoe whiskey (you know, the kind that can make you go blind).

I'll stick to my shots of tequila and/or neat vodka for my high concentration needs. Don't quite fancy losing my eyesight just yet.

Now in 10 years time...

Absinthe is legal in the UK and easier to acquire than either moonshine or Irish potato whiskey as well. Just buy a bottle of that.

why is that amazing? Chinese rice wine is at a minimum of 52% alcohol, it can get to around 70%

they drink the stuff like crazy at parties and celebrations. Beer is for pussies.
You do know that rice wine is technically a beer. Right?

It says it on every advert for alcohol and it still gets ignored, wait till they find out about moonshine .... damn it!

It's 100% pure alcohol, incase you didn't already know.
