Great name but 32%? Okay, that's high for a beer, but vodka like Viru Valge is 80%.

I wouldnt mind a few bottles of it.

I was showing it to a few friends at work and we got a few ideas for christmas =D

And yeah, although its about same as Vodka, remember, its not a spirit, its a beer, so, if anything the experience is going to be new.

Good on the brewery for been inventive!

80% or 80 proof? 80 proof is 40%, 80% would be 160 proof, and couldn't be sold in some states.

Both 40% and 80% (and 38% too) [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viru_Valge]

Is that Baditzmaru in the pic...?
But Gawd YES I'd try that! I wonder if the bottles are dark or if that's the beer. Mmm...nice bock or stout...

I must checkout their website.

Smells like someone is burning money. 30£ is a lot of money, but then again, this is alcohol and I don't drink - I wouldn't know.

Screw that! I'm going down to the nearest shop what stops this with my frat bros and buying a crate of this stuff before it is banned :D
So you're saying you're going to willfully and intentionally ignore the maker's warnings about drinking responsibly and attempt to get yourself and your friends completely smashed on an alcoholic beverage that's far more dangerous than any other beer currently known to man... just because.

Sir, with all due respect, this is not something I would be bragging out.
It says it on every advert for alcohol and it still gets ignored, wait till they find out about moonshine .... damn it!

It's 100% pure alcohol, incase you didn't already know.
The purest alcohol you can get without using a drying agent like lime is 95%.

At 32% it's almost certainly absolutely vile, and aimed at idiots who just want to say "I've drunk 32% beer, and that makes me hard!

I looked at the title and then my username. I thought it would be a match made in Heaven. :(

OT: I don't drink alcohol so if it's powerful like you and everyone else says then I could just pass out in one sip. :p

I can see where its going to get the most of its sales, the name and its strength. I've tried some strong beers before and I found the higher the alcohol % the less pleasantly drinkable they were. For £30 I would rather buy a crate of beer I could enjoy or a couple of bottles of spirits.

On top of that it's VERY difficult to get past 99% or 99.5% even in labratory conditions.

EDIT: IIRC Moonshine's usualy a form of rye, gin, or whiskey, maybe stronger than 40 proof, but not that high.

96%

Sorry for nitpicking.

I'd most definately buy one bottle to drink it and keep it on my shelf. Its name is genious.

The whole concept sounds fantastic until you remember it is beer, and therefore will inevitably taste like old boots stewed in stale urine for about 8 months.

The name alone is enough to buy it though. Just so, in years to come, you can put it on a table at a posh party, and offer people some Tactical Nuclear Penguin with their roast beef.

Yeah I remember seeing this while spending countless hours on stumbleupon. I find the price to be such bullshit, however I also don't know the volume of the bottles. DO WANT!

Only Scotsmen could come up with an idea this insane and brilliant. This simply begs to be enjoyed in the traditional fashion; wearing naught but a kilt in freezing cold weather while eating haggis (mmm haggis) and having bagpipes squealing right next to your head. Looks like the title of manliest men in the UK just got passed to... oh, sorry. That particular title never left Scotland, did it?

So take out the drying agent.

I know nothing about alcohol, I don't even drink the stuff but thats a different story.

All I can say is I watched a program on it a year or two ago that said it was 100% alcohol, if it's wrong then so be it.

This beer is a complete waste of time. 32%? That's just a marketing gimmick to get 'frat bros' to go 'OMG we are teh hardcore', a 32% beer will taste like ass tbh. And if you want something strong then for £30 you could get a nice bottle of whisky etc.
