Nice! I've always been interested in TF2 but never got the chance to play it. Now I have an excuse now... OFF TO STEAM.

If it was worth $20 when you bought it (TOTALLY) then if it gets downgraded the next day to $1 it's irrelevant, you've paid your money and it was worth it then.

Time value of money too. Why not wait 10 years? Everything will be free by then. No need to spend money.

That's really all I have to say about that video. I don't care for TF2 really, it's a bit overrated in my opinion. Also I got it in the Valve complete pack on Steam, so I feel no great loss with the new F2P aspect.

I'm more interested in Valves single player/ Co Op games.

As I overlook the FAQ for free people, I am deeply saddened by how bullshit it is. Getting the game for free means you CAN'T:

Give trades
Find hats
Give gifts
Have as many backpack slots (1/6 the number a person who paid for it has, 50 compared to 300)
Use every crafting blueprint

Oh, and to upgrade to a 'premium' player, it costs $1. One dollar for a game I had paid $20 for.

The meet the medic video was pretty good. I like all these videos don't care much for the game itself though it doesn't really seem like it would even be a fraction as amusing to play.

Nope. But you don't have to buy it anymore.

OT: Awesome news - gonna be poking everyone I know to get together and try it out now. I've tried it before, it's good fun, just not my kind of game, preferred Battlefield as my FPS fix.

I hope this doesnt change the valve handles the game. If its free to play, they might not take care of it as good as they did until now. And I really hope the servers won't get flooded with people.

Never buy a Steam game unless it's 75% off or in this case, free. It will always come back and bite you in the ass.

Hey, now that's not fair! I paid 10 bucks for the Orange Box one year ago, and now this game is Free?! I demand a refund! I think the best way to solve this is to give veteran players two 59.99$ games of their choice. It only seems fair.
