True, do people ***** that you can get a GBA for $15 now?JoelChenFA said:Time value of money too. Why not wait 10 years? Everything will be free by then. No need to spend money.Baneat said:Sunk cost fallacy everywhere here though
If it was worth $20 when you bought it (TOTALLY) then if it gets downgraded the next day to $1 it's irrelevant, you've paid your money and it was worth it then.
I saw that, and skimmed the thread just to congratulate you sir. Well done.Corkydog said:Called it three days ago, in the first Escapist article on this. I am satisfied.
"Q. How much of the game can I play without paying anything?TheYellowCellPhone said:As I overlook the FAQ for free people, I am deeply saddened by how bullshit it is. Getting the game for free means you CAN'T:
Give trades
Find hats
Give gifts
Have as many backpack slots (1/6 the number a person who paid for it has, 50 compared to 300)
Use every crafting blueprint
Oh, and to upgrade to a 'premium' player, it costs $1. One dollar for a game I had paid $20 for.
Nope. But you don't have to buy it anymore.Hectix777 said:What does this mean? Did it have a sub fee at some point?
It means that you can now download it from Steam, and you don't have to pay for it. ^_^Hectix777 said:What does this mean? Did it have a sub fee at some point?
Never buy a Steam game unless it's 75% off or in this case, free. It will always come back and bite you in the ass.Cobelo said:I kinda actually hate this big reveal.
Really, valve? You had to decide to make the game that i figured was worth $20 two months ago FREE? Now i feel like i wasted my own dosh. I'm with Awesome74, why don't i get my money's worth of in-game items or something, damn?
