Thank you for the kind words, tho I don't really care about them. Also, I wouldn't say I'm a fan at all.AzrealMaximillion said:snip
He promised a lot of content, specific content that never got into the game.AzrealMaximillion said:He promised that more content would be made. Look at the game now compared to launch. It has more content. Promise achieved. He didn't promise infinite content.
As I said, those are his problems. Not mine. He is the one who overestimated his abilities, it wasn't me. If I recall correctly, my parents had also kids, yet I don't see them giving up their jobs for it. He is the one who is unable to manage his time, to plan out his day. And he was working from home anyways. It's not like he would have to leave his son alone at home for 12 hours a day.AzrealMaximillion said:The fact that you don't care about him wanting to take care of his newborn son is probably the most vomit worthy thing I've read on this thread. Especially since Terraria was made by a 3-person team. The other 2 developers left to make StarBound, the spiritual sequel to Terraria.
So, I make all gamer look bad because I don't stay quite when someone tries to fuck me over? Sorry for not being spineless like you.AzrealMaximillion said:It's PC gamers like you that make us look like bottom feeding basement urchins who inhale Cheetos by the bag.

Whatever will I do? It's not like I can just go out and play it on a console! That would drop me down from being part of the PC master race.
Oh would you look at that.Waaghpowa said:I full expect a series of posts casually alluding to elitism while simultaneously coming off smug and superior. It's so unusual from this community...
I understood your comment, so no, it's not a case of me "not getting it". You were being smug and arrogant (and still are). Not everyone can go and buy a game on the console because not everyone has a console, novel thought isn't it? I also understood that you play games on PC, but you're still being a bit of a dick about the whole thing.Angry Juju said:GAunderrated said:lord.jeff said:SNIP
He earned millions? Please leave me a citation of this precise info you must have.BiH-Kira said:So, I make all gamer look bad because I don't stay quite when someone tries to fuck me over? Sorry for not being spineless like you.
He earned millions on the promise to add specific content to the game. He didn't keep his promise. People are entitled to complain.
See for me I have never understood apologists and people who use memes (mostly because they use them incorrectly) so I guess I will indulge and ask the question.danon said:Looking at the bs the developer had to deal with exemplified in this thread i'm just happy he endured all the hate and bile and updated it at all. I don't think this is why we can't have nice things ever have been such a appropiate term.
Sir your ignorance is showing. Not only that but I would wager that you arn't even apart of the terraria community at all. If you were you would know that most gamers were supportive and constructive up until this issue. Even when the developer pulled a dick move stopping support after 1 major update people took it with grace (for the most part, there was a handful of rage but it was minor). There wasn't even any bad feeling up until the fans got trolled in this incident.danon said:Because if someone makes massive content for free and severely increases the size of the game and all they get is whining and complaints they are going to stop making updates. It's a really simple concept. They aren't legally bound to make more content updates so why would they when people are acting like brats. Some people just amaze me sometimes in what they think someone owes them just because they bought the game.
Except when a dev comes out and says "No more content" and "The game isnt being handed off" then hands it off and has more content made, THEN only console users get that new content...ya...we get pissed.danon said:Because if someone makes massive content for free and severely increases the size of the game and all they get is whining and complaints they are going to stop making updates. Hee hee! You're new to how this whole "internet" thing works, aren'cha?Andy Chalk said:And you can hardly blame the guy for standing back and letting someone else pick up the ball and run with it, especially if they're going to toss him a few bags of money as they go by.
Wow, where do you live. I want to live there. Of course that would probably cost more than the price of a console anyway, so would end up utterly pointless.Angry Juju said:Since when do consoles cost $300? You need to stop looking at the models with built in diamonds.
Xbox's today go as low as $60.
And if you use a monitor for a computer, then you can generally use the same monitor for a console... If you use a laptop then well... Tough for you, but you're in the minority.
