hehe I kinda knew the area for 4-2 from the clues & such, but couldn't get a definitive answer so I just guessed one out of the 2 games I know that has locations in that area and got it right on 1st try. and now I must go rest my brain because 4-1 beat it to mush while 4-2 spat on it...

The answer to day 2, puzzle 1 does not make any sense to me. I know what the puzzle means but I don't understand what it has to do with gaming.

Wow, some of those points on the map have way too many possibles as written in the clue to be helpful. And they still make possible symbols. >.<

and nothing has happened, i have even looked at the page source and found nothing helpful here.. could someone please pm on how to START 4-1 please? I blitzed the last 3 days.. but this is driving me mental.. Thank you in advance.

I finally noticed the color change in the text after entering each code a couple times while not in a text field or anything. Just highlight nothing (perhaps click in that jumbled letter field to be safe) and enter one of those codes you mentioned, look carefully at that letter field, and if you got the right code, the color of some letters should change.

Yeah.. I'm having no luck with typing out any of these codes. Where do I have to actually enter them? This is confuzzling >.<

Ya, the blue is not showing up good on my screen neither, I honestly cannot read the blue highlighted letter and I try adjusting the brightness but that didn't help.

It's one of my favourite games, but I'd only JUST figured out how to use google maps properly. Until then I was getting "G"s and "Z"'s mostly. I was just about to finally do it when i thought "eh, I'll give it a random guess and boom! I was right! xD

You don't actually ENTER the codes.. you type them randomly on the page and the change should just occur. You don't actually enter the codes into a box or anything, just randomly on the page without anything highlighted.

There are three different changes for the 3 italicised words. After you get all, Caesar points the way.

On a sidenote, any hint to give for the second one? I've got a national park in Russia. -.-

Need a little help on 4-1. So, my progress so far.

EDIT: Got it, never mind. Question though, I just used a brute force approach to figure out the number of leaps. Was there an actual hint somewhere, or was that the only option?

And hey mods, I've been thinking. What if next time it was a team thing. So everyone who wants to join in signs up, gets split into teams, swap ideas through PM. I dunno, I think it would be a lot of fun. Though maybe hard to organise.
