Resi 5, the Jill valetine fight. Well, I capped her ass with a S&W 500 and then I saw the "You lose" sign, after which it said "Do not kill your teammates"

My absolute favourites are when the game tells you 'Press X to attack' roughly 10 minutes into it and you've already killed several waves of enemies.
When prototype feels adamant that even after I have completed the game it should occasionally pause the game to provide a useful tip like "W KEY TO MOVE" Well thanks dear I may have sussed that one out by now.
In half life 2 just before the final battle when breen escapes through the elevator just after dropping the blue gravity gun. Alex says "don't forget the gravity gun Gorden!" No shit sherlock, you know I was just that close to leaving it right here and try to punch my foes to death in the final battle. It is a damn good thing you are here.

Hate it when BF2142 screws up and starts doing the tutorial when you're a two time Brig. Gen and the character you're now using is 1500ish points away from Brig. Gen. 'Walk upto the ladder to climb' - I know. 'Click the left mouse button to fire' - I KNOW. 'Push 'E' to enter..' SHUT THE HELL UP!
God of War 2. The giant statue thing throws Kratos after tearing it's arm from the windmill thing. Kratos falls through a roof, and the game takes a minute to show Kratos looking around, then zooms in on a door that is obviously the exit, since there is no where else to go. That one scene always bothers me when I play the game
