I don't know why I found them soo difficult. They killed me probably 50 times before I finally beat them.

Honourable mention to Agni and Rudra from DMC3, who can claim the life of a controller after I broke one in a fit of rage.
i must ask the both of you, was this the Special Edition or original release of DMC3?
but speaking of DMC3 >.> the flying centipede boss, not because its terribly 'hard' per say, it just takes FOREVER to kill. sure you can, in theory, bounce its projectiles back at it for huge damage, but that's always been problematic given the number he throws at you, i mention it over the others cause the nerfing of the SE release did little to make it, easier, or shorter.
Vindictus has 3 bosses that KINDA fit this, all raid bosses, and ALL 3 are part of the main story line, so you kinda HAVE to kill them to get to the next bit of content.
Thor: GIANT, 3 jawed electrical alligator, who stand in water, for extra fun, he can electrically charge the water, this is unblockable, and SPAMMED, and high damage, it is avoidable that that accounts for only 5% at most of the map.
Ingkells: demonic ogre looking dood, with a big ass sword, a few AoE and Line type attacks, and, can summon mid, to full boss grade enemys.
and
Glas Ghaibhleann: a HUGE, 4 armed demon looking thing, it flys, has a one hit kill, and most of its attacks can, and will obliterate you.
City of Heroes has Trapdoor, some random loser made an 'Incarnate' threw unnatural means, listing him, cause of his high speed regeneration, even for a boss, and which only gets worse when he makes clones of him self, best way anyone i know has found of countering it, even with clones, is push him into the lava pit near by, fun times lemme tell ya
