Seems like a generic list of games you should like because everyone says you should like them.

Oh please, don't hate on success. The games made it to the top ten because a lot of people liked playing them, not because everybody felt like they had to vote for them because of marketing. I voted for a lot of those games because I consider them some of the best I've ever played.

Popular doesn't mean bad, it means good for many.

And remember he's bitching about the top 10, from 636 total submissions. People did just vote for whatever they wanted. There was even one for Uno on XBox Live Arcade.

Wow, there were that many games submitted? Huh, now I can see why a couple of my suggestions weren't in that "rest of the 100", and I'm okay with it. Sadly, No More Heroes is a mildly obscure title, so I didn't really expect it to make any landslide movements.

Anyway, I do agree with the results, especially given my experiences with a lot of those games(and stories I've heard from some of those games I didn't play). Good job gathering that many people for participation.

Ah, it's too bad you didn't state how many votes each game got. I was really expecting for a Valve game to win. But two Mass Effects in the top ten, that's good enough for me.

Well, I really don't agree with that, but I suppose it's similar to what I expected.

The lack of Mario Galaxy in the top ten in favour of Mass Effect(!) made me despair though.

I don't think Oblivion deserved to be up so high, but w/e.

And nearly my whole list was somewhere on the list (Thousand Year Door didn't make the cut... ;_, which was a bonus.

All of mine made the top 100. Three made the top ten. Of course, all of my top five come from two series (Legend of Zelda and Mass Effect).

Oh yeah... My mistake...

But they are only really 2 basic genres in the top ten... RPG and Shooter...
(although I dunno what to call portal really... its not really an FPS is it?)
