The contest page just says they go up this week (i.e. week of Nov 1), not necessarily today. I hope they go up today though.

I was told by someone that works here that the Quicktime (.mov) worked well with this site and it had the least problems. So I used that on 2 of my vids and it loaded faster than the first which was a HD flash (.flv) However he did tell me that they support many file extensions! Only that they had the least amount of problems with .mov

I'll try to get in touch with him and see what time they are kicking this off and I'll be back to let you know!

I get the impression they're just giving the videos that usually release today (unskippable, daily drop, LRR) the chance for people to view them first before putting up the video contest page.

Getting the usual stuff done first, then the competition will be last on the to do list i imagine. So since all the normal vids of Monday are now up, i bet it wont be too long.

Well. I haven't heard anything back so I can only guess that the staff is viewing the videos themselves before releasing them online.

If there were an extension, then I am sure that they would have made us aware of it.

This wait is driving me literally insane. I've already ordered a shrink to help discuss this issue but it's just too late, I'm worried I'm gonna throw feces at him.

One of the staff i talked to over an email said all videos were being reviewed before release so as to omit any that contravene the ruleset.

I think the only ones they wouldnt have reviewed by today would be the ones that came in late friday night. But i cant imagine thats holding anything up.

Its just them putting it up when they decided it would go up i imagine.

We all just need a healthy dose of patience!
