This is something I did a while back, the lighting is not too good for the drawing and the other was made with a program called apophysis.

It's not exactly over the top art, not for me anyway.

But it's made its way to becoming my new overall icon for the interwebs, So I figured I'd share it here.

Basically, I had a hair cut a while back, but couldn't be arsed to try drawing it.
Now I've given it a shot with some pleasing results.

Enjoy

Well...

Which was done only in ink pen, but one of the more successful attempts. Because it took forever. -_-

All I remember about this was that I was REALLY mad at my ex. So that's a girl-i-fied him. In my prom dress.

Finally, another pen sketch and my first experiment with colored pencils. The guitar is atrocious... but there was no erasing, so... yeah.

You're definitely able to draw well enough. Try using watercolour on its own, rather than a medium as an enhancement to a drawing. You're still too focused on line for definition in that drawing. However, if that doesn't interest you, by all means continue to use it as an enhancer, just tone it down like in the third drawing.

I am a poet, actually. Once I track down my poems, I'll post some of them here.

I've done a few decent drawings, and even wrote a really great short story once, but unfortunately I lost all those.

Thanks for looking! I always welcome the objective insight. That is definitely something I've noticed in my art and something that I would like to branch away from more. I learned a bit more about shadows defining the image, as apposed to line, in a basic drawing class and I would love to continue with it.

I've been saving up a bunch of pictures to post, mostly of concept art for various things.

The first collection is a bunch of concept art for a webcomic that I might draw in a year or so. I had the idea and I drew some art for it, but other projects that I'm working on will keep me busy for a while, so don't expect to see an actual comic form of this for quite a while.

The pictures are pretty, though.

I gave each character a letter when I drew them, because I didn't have names for them yet.

Next up are a few NPCs from my RP The Unknown. I can't give you full names for them, because they might be minor plot points later on, but the pictures are good at least.

Unfortunately, I've been in a bit of an art funk for the last few weeks, Which has managed to prevent me from entering the August Art competition, Sorry about that Labby.

Anyway, I've been working my arse off all day today try and least get one idea fleshed out by the end of the day, well It's slightly past the end of the day, but I managed to get someone done.

It was a hero idea I had while talking to a friend about Champions Online.

I present Cody Avvers, or you might call her...

she's basically a girl who lives in a village of dead people, turned into such by some surge of occult energy that transform and scarred her, but not before giving her the power to seperate her soul from her body and posessing people with it.

(Yeah, she's kinda like deadman, but with her own body that she can return to).

I figured an interesting character trait for someone with her power would be if she was really happy-go-lucky.

mainly because she's some-what experienced death, so she's got nothing else to worry about.

Well until the government commandos known as "The Coroners" come into it.

Sorry to double post, but it seems I've had a sudden gush of inspiration with this new character of mine.

I realise her legs are and feet are a bit screwed, but I'm still not very good at general poses.
something I'm working on. (In fairness though, she is a walking corpse, she's allowed to have screwy legs :D)

I'm thinking on continuing this with a few more skills and traits, but I'm not gonna force it, because I want this to remain fun.
Till then, enjoy.

Here is where all my art is (the good stuff). I've been having a block lately, but hopefully once I finish moving it will be easier to get out the art supplies. I like working with a number of different materials (charcoal, pencil, ink, watercolor, acrylic, etc) and hopefully I can learn how to use photoshop and other computer related art programs. :)

Okay, I found the poems. Most of them I wrote in high school. This is my favorite of those.

Have you ever walked?
Have you ever walked alone?
Have you ever walked alone at night,
With the moon right by your side?

I HAVE

Think about it, won't you?
Have you ever thought at all?
About the cold, the dark, the lonely?
The abyss where you are only?

I HAVE

Dream about it, won't you?
Have you ever dreamed at all?
About absolutely nothing
anyone understands at all?

I HAVE

Do it sometime, won't you?
Walk and think and dream?
With the moon right by your side,
Holding fear for everything?

Alright so Im kicking myself for my severe lack of access to a scanner. I got a set of charcoal pencils about a week ago and I adore them. So I thought I'd attempt a bit of shading. Im not very good, and believe me when I say, "It looks alot better in real life."
The quality is unequivically horrid. I hate my digital camera, it takes terrible pictures.

Oh dear. My t-shirt design was (while a finalist) really something I don't find so funny anymore. Due to the dubbed "search nazis" its become less a funny message and more an elitist prick kind of thing. I might post it, I might not.

I'll also comment on some of the recent work when I'm done... work... and dentist. I should be around in about 9 or 10 hours.
