Here you go!

A knock at the door stopped Bryan and Greg in the midst of the two reading through every article again. Greg quickly got up from his couch, hurrying over to the only door into his apartment. He peered through the dusty peephole, this was the first time he had ever used it. Nick stood at the door. He appeared to breathing hard. Greg quickly opened the cheaply made door. Nick brushed by Greg quickly, strained by his load. He was carrying two black duffle bags, dropping them at the coffee table, and picked up an article quickly. His brow furrowed deeply trying to make some sense from this growing situation. Greg barely had time to shut his door before Nick started to speak.
"I wouldn't have taken you seriously normally, but what happen today... I just can't believe it. I packed as much essential shit I could find at my place. My truck was almost out of gas, but I still drove like I stole the son-of-a-*****" The men all laughed, every one seemed relieved to be able to laugh amongst the dire situation. Greg walked to the duffle bags, kneeled down, and opened one. Nick laughed as he looked down at him. "I grabbed food, medical supplies, and clothes. The dumbest thing I grabbed would have to be the mace" Greg stopped to look up at Nick and shake his head. Bryan cocked his head to the side, as if in thought, but broke the awkward silence.
"That is not dumb, there is going to be mass panic if this breaks out quickly. Some dumb ass who decides he wants to give us a hard time we can just mace him"
Nick smiled. "Well I didn't think of that when I picked it up. Honestly, I was thinking about zombies" Greg shook his head again. Bryan looked down to write on a plain white piece of paper, looking back and forth between some articles; writing a chronological list of the events that each article described. Greg stood up from the open duffle bag. He peered over to his rifle leaning against his living room wall; he walked over to it and picked it up. He grunted from the weight of its stocky wood frame. The bolt glided smoothly as he pulled back to expose the breach. It had seen a lot of firing in its day, but still retained a glossy look inside. 'Clunk, clunk, clunk' Greg hurriedly laid the rifle to rest against the wall; he ran over to the door and peered through the dusty peephole once again. David stood at the entrance, with his usual solemn gaze. Greg opened the door quickly, a small gust blew into his living room, scattering the articles on the table. Bryan mumbled as he leaned from the couch to pick up articles in reach. David stepped into the now dimly lit living room. He held back a grin as his eyes glanced over the rifle, strewn about papers, and finally on Nick's bags. Greg sighed under his breath, knowing David's grin meant he thought the whole idea of the undead was crap. David could no longer hold back his doubt.
"Dude, You guys crack me up. You know this shit can't physically happen. That's why you can find the books about 'Zombies' in the horror section. Man, your lucky I'm bored." Bryan peered up from his diligent work as Greg leaned down to pick up a paper. He shoved the paper towards David.
"Read, then read a couple more, listen to what Nick went through just this morning, and THEN tell me this is not happening." David partially ignored Greg's speech as he read the article. He took a seat next to Bryan, tossing one paper and replacing it with another, Nick grinned sheepishly as he began to tell his story. The four all sat down as Nick went into detail about the 'animal attack' victim. David still seemed skeptical, almost looking forward to them all being wrong. He would stick around to watch them fail. No one would have to make him believe, waiting for them to fail would only allow him to see for himself, how real this was going to be. The phone rang shattering the silence after Nick's story. Greg stumbled over his own feet rushing to pick the phone up. Richard's voice was strained as he spoke.
"Dude, what floor do you live on again? I brought some guns, and some shit from my house, so your door better be open!" Richard was always dependable. Greg looked towards Nick before replying.
"Tenth floor, yeah, the door will be open." Greg motioned for Nick to open the door. The phone clicked several times, and then went silent; Greg looked quizzically at the receiver. He pushed the power button twice. No dial tone could be heard. Greg's eyes widened slightly.
"Shit." The three friends all looked at Greg quickly. Bryan spoke first.
"What?"
Greg replied gravely. "The phones are down."
The four friends slowly looked back to one another, no more words were needed, and they all knew what each was thinking.

The small moment of silence was broken. Richard burst into the small living room. He shrugged off two duffel bags and several weapons bags, from his shoulders. Richard stopped to scan the solemn looking friends scattered about the room.
"What did I miss?"
David stood up, towering over Richard, and said, "The phones just went down."
Greg busily plugged and unplugged the phone, each time only confirming what each friend thought. This was going to happen a lot sooner then they would like. Richard leaned down to each weapon case, quickly un-zipping each, exposing several large caliber rifles, and a ten gauge shotgun. Bryan looked as if he would explode into excited laughter. Greg looked over.
"Did you bring a lot of ammo?" Richard looked over to Greg, and then shrugged towards his two duffel bags.
"Yeah, both of those bags are filled, I think I should have brought some beer though. This is going to be insane." Richard threw his head forward and back again at the last word; Emphasizing "insane". The tension eased in the room as the friends laughed in chorus. Nick clamored in quickly.
"I really don't think we quite grasp what's important right now. We've always talked about zombies, and what we would do, but right now, were not doing anything!" The group of four nodded in chorus. Richard began dividing up the weapons amongst the group. Bryan grabbed the largest caliber rifle from the bags, an 8MM Mauser. 'Clank clank clak'. Bryan opened and cleared the breach. A large grin appeared across his face. Nick was the next to grab a weapon, a .45 Colt, handling the weapon with a slight awkwardness. As the men grabbed weapons the room was silent once more. Greg stood up from over his rifle and walked over to his small television. His knees popped loudly as he bent down to turn the television on. Nothing. Every channel was static or a blank screen.
Richard peered over.
"Dude, what's up with the T.V.?" Greg looked back with his eyebrow cocked upwards.
"Everything is out. We have no phones, television, and the cell phones are out too." Greg looked down at his cell phone.
"Really?!" Bryan pulled his out. His face went pale. "Fuck."
Nick looked around quickly as if panicked.
"Shut up, do you guys hear that?"
Silence swept throughout the small room. Small cracks could be heard, as if fireworks were going off, and the sounds of sirens echoed. Bryan pulled out a single bullet, sliding it gently into the Mauser.
"If were going to do this, lets do it now." All of the men solemnly nodded to one another.

It's not so much art as it is just something I made:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wO5FO2dKL6A&feature=channel_page
It's my production logo (You might've seen it plastered on some of my pictures) that I made at college just so that when I finally make the movie i'm planning on making within the next month or two, I'll have a logo to plaster on it.

Wooooooo it looks like the Firaxis symbol except it has something in the middle.
I think this is what it would look like if Ubisoft was evil.
They would have to make the Ubisoft sounds (boop boop beep beep boop boop bEEP BEEP *echos*) way more evil... like maybe a guitar version of it.

I'll take a whack at it. Literarily-wise, anyway, I can't draw very well, aside from short stories in stick figure form. Hopefully it doesn't suck.

Twas' night it came, dark as death
Approaching with no bane
Letting forth a moistened breath
Sprawling like a flame

Splitting the air asunder
The sky alight with it's ache
Forcing the earth to crumble
'Neath it's mighty wake

Drowning all in it's sight
It's tears flowing, submerging
Assaulting the land while in it's flight
A darkened rose, flourishing

It's powerful breaths now bearing
Ripping and twisting it's own
It's cries and calls now blaring
Ferociously making itself known

Swallowing up the night sky
Erasing the once glittering stars
Letting forth a shrill cry
Leaving the ground shattered and scarred

A tail of wind and dust
Twisting and twining like snakes
Stabbing the earth with a thrust
Consuming all in it's wake

The strength of a mighty titan
Obliteration in it's trail
A black beast of destruction
Crushing the weak and the frail

Twas' day it departed unhindered
The landscape now broken, malformed
The earth, sodden and splintered
So was the fury of the storm

Just messin around a bit.

Just a quick tip. Atmospheric perspective tends to look really good in digital painting. If you faded some of the mountains slightly into the grey it would look very good. It doesn't really matter since its a very stylized piece (a good one at that, I like the palette) but I thought I'd throw it out there.
Does this have any influence from The Path?

How do I post stuff to show?
Upload the image to something like Photobucket then post the direct link in between and without the spaces. Spoilers run on the same basic principle but instead of "img" write "spoiler". If you want to add a title the first spoiler tag should read "spoiler=insert title here"

Sorry for the double post but I've finally taken some photos of recent work.

Sculpture in aerated concrete, plaster and paint. Took a fucking age to carve away all the excess material. The original block was roughly an inch wider and taller, solid.

Odd, why haven't I seen this thread before? Oh well. I'll find some stuff to post, fear not! It may require digging through several piles of stuff.... I am a badly organized writer :D

Cool stuff. I love Blood Angel, it's got this simplicity to it.

Some self portraits I took about 2 years ago. The scans are pretty lame.

They kind of look like band photos, and I mean that in a good way.

Here's something that I'll be putting into my application for art school.
